I also have a Sheaffer 100 which I agree is an excellent pen for its price. Mine is the opposite to yours, very dry writer, looks great on cheap copier paper. Maybe investigate having it adjusted to be dryer?
Sorry for not seeing this. They write like a thin 1 mm calligraphy nib but with no need to dip. I primarily use these for everyday cursive writing. My handwriting is not very good and this helps improve the way it looks, I think. :)
And, by the way, I am actually very impressed. I remember a time when your handwriting was not nearly so neat. That means there may be hope for mine, too, if I can get past this left-handed curse.
Hello Ootrid, I'm new to the fountain pen scene and am on a budget and while researching italic pens happened to come across your video. I have a few cheap pens and would like to emulate your idea. Would you be willing to make a video of the process of grinding and finishing the nib?
This may be out of date...but I'm trying to get into the same type of thing, and I was curious. Where do you buy bulk nibs from? I was thinking of the $2 nibs from Noodlers, but hoping for something even a bit cheaper or more in bulk (like, 50 nibs, or so).
lol youre just like those really beautiful girls that think theyre ugly... you think your hand writing is not the best when its really nice. i wish i could write like you so i could use my fountain pen :( lol
Interesting. Just when I thought I was caught up on all your hobbies, you go and start a new one!
