Considering how much a DDU with LEDs costs, the price is hard to justify for some LEDs in fancy containers and an Arduino. Are you still running your bass shakers on the springs? Did your opinion on these change in any way since your review?
I did this DIY using 2 x WS22812, 2 x 3D printed cases and an Arduino. Fairly straightforward to control as SimHub manages everything for you. Works great. Cost around £15. However, that took a about an hour to sort the electronics, and you need a good temperature controlled soldering iron. After that a few more hours to setup in Fusion 360, and print. I'm tired of you now. I'll let you read this and you're gone. I'll give you 5 mins. 😁
@@reckanizeyes you can my friend made some for less than £30 with shipping these are £105
Just bought them through your link. I like the look of them and can see how they would benefit me. People on here must think you're forcing them to buy the product....
@karlwatson45 no but at least call out over priced when it's overpriced. Race beyond matter calls all companies out that who I listen too. The bezel free kit he loved by the price he said was disgusting I don't see any reviews from Dave (sorry dave just how it looks) where he doesn't like the stuff he's sent that he also has affiliate links too like many youtubers. Their called Influencers for a reason
@@Simlife101 Yeah mostly like honest and real reviews but I just bought the Grid Brows and my UA-cam channel is nothing, just made it when I was young. And I can tell, it’s overpriced for sure but when it came and I installed it and use it in full glory, I forgot the price. It’s very useful and adds immersion for me personally like seeing flashing Red leds for ABS, spotter car left right, pitlimiter, yellow, blue,…flags,… lowfuel etc… just many useful things. Didn’t expected that it would be so useful and immersive but it is. Again for me personally. Do I REALLY NEED it ? NO, but then again we also don’t NEED a Lamborghini for daily use but we all want it for the immersion/adrealine/speed/power/beauty,….
Fookin £85 plus delivery charge, no thanks. Way too expensive for what they are. Good job some people get this for free for a you tube review ripping people off, shame!!
Ripping people off? You do realise you have a choice to buy or not right?
Nice gadget
Too late, already sold out
Simracers.... "look at the wheel I just spent $800 on.... also Simracers.. "whoa!! $80 for that? Thats too much"
Lol,😂😂 This is a relatively avg priced hobby compared to many others. Go get into RC Racing where a set if tires may last you 1 race day and cost you $50 a set.
@noiamhippyman Not comparing a wheel, comparing relative cost. Thanks for trying.
He's gone Rob. I'd had enough of his antagonistic ways 😁
@@robcampbell6099you can't be serious right? You realise this just a glorified overpriced piece of plastic, it's the principal that matters, imagine those $800 being bumped up to $2000 just for the sake of it. This isn't worth $80 + $30+ shipping
@yupskiesyoskies nobody is forcing you to buy it are they? Sure you could probably make a lesser set yourself ordering parts from Amazon and 3d printing a case and mounts and factoring in your own labour.
But go find someone to tool up and injection mold it for you on a 1 off order and see what your price comes up to now.
My point being everything is relative, you can get A Fanatec Mclaren wheel for $300 which has similar functions to say a $800 GSI WHEEL. but 1 has had more design and build process put into and as such comes with a higher price tag.
@@RelebogileChil It's honestly wild to me how many people think that everything from a carrier bag to CFRP is 'just plastic' and therefore somehow worthless.
FOS
Costing me more money 🙄
Sorry mate 🤣
Here we go again with the price comments. Let's be honest everything sim racing is an expensive toy. It's a free market and these companies don't owe us affordability. If something's out of your budget then fine, no big deal. Doesn't mean it's 'overpriced'. Just don't buy it. Pay your money (or not) and take your choice instead of bashing high quality products as 'poor value'.
It's like the QR2 Fanatec just released. Reddit full of people bashing it saying the pricing is a 'joke'. Meanwhile they're completely sold out within days. 😂
These are also sold out 😄
@@IvebenKruzen Lol I rest my case! 😆
If something is expensive wouldn't you expect the highest quality, regardless of how expensive of a hobby this is it's still a unethical business practice and compliance only means it becomes worse, I'm happy people are realising fanatec is a scummy business
£85… no thanks.
Good waste of money
Clearly popular... sold out.
