workmanship awesome man. only thing id say maybe a British standard night latch might have been better because you can't shim them. good work I'm subscribing
Couldn't do a night latch in this case as the landlord didn't want to have to worry about issuing keys. Thanks for watching mate 👍 cheers for subscribing
Just come across your channel 👍🏼 You fitted that Yale Smart Lock better than some locksmiths I know 😁 Have a little look at my locksmith channel when you have 5 minutes, being a chippy turned locksmith myself you might find some of it interesting interesting 👍🏼 Just subbed 👌🏼 All the best
hi, I am using the latch that's the same as yours, but install kit doesn't come with the circle tab to hold the smart lock in place!. Do you know what this is called or where i can purchase it? thanks
Hi Ben, I've a couple of questions. Can any key tags or key cards be updated with the new code if the user changes the code on the unit, or or they now rendered obsolete an need to be replaced. Also is the unit compatible with most traditional internal nightlatches. Cheers!🍺
So the company claim it fits any euro handle set up. I can't vouch for that but I trust their word. You don't have any key tags or cards with this lock. Just your mobile phone. The code is there in case you haven't got your mobile phone. If you want to allow anyone else in to the building you can either send a temporary code them or you can set the door to be open between certain times. Hope that helps 👍
How easy is it to alter the code on these types of locks, as I assume the default code is factory set and is the same throughout the building at the moment ?
Good Video Ben. Will fit one now, THANKS
Lovely job Ben! The painter must love following you 👍
Got to look after the next tradie. That's the name of the game.
Thanks for your video. Do you recommend this for outdoor ? let's say Garden Door
Don't think it's for outdoor use. May have to check with them for that 👍
Nice job Ben. I haven’t seen that lock before but fitted other type of combination locks. Good music as well. Thanks
Cheers Jerry 👌 thanks for watching

@@BuiltByBen-YT Thanks man, it's apprecited!
Sorry mate I thought you had commented on my new video. Ignore what I said!
The key tags for this one stay connected unless wiped
Can this lock be fully operated from an Ipad or pc, ie. could I set security codes etc? I am disabled and cannot use a smartphone.
Not sure on that one mate. May have to check on the specs
Must be the quietest site ever Ben.
Are you Norfolk way ?
Yea I am mate. It isn't usually a quiet place. I stay after work and film my videos 👍
Handle been fitted off centre, too deep backset ?
They were fitted to stop the tenants from hitting their knuckles on the chunky fire door stops.

Hi Kevin,
Just a series of codes and a unique number to enter to change them. I found I quite simple.
👍
@@BuiltByBen-YT Thanks 👍
