- I know, I know. It's not a gun. But knives are 'gun adjacent', right? This is a style of knife I am quite enamored of, and I think it's exceptionally useful to outdoor activities like hunting, hiking and camping.

I like to use the minimum tool that will do the job. But there are days... when the job requires a short sword rather than a scalpel.
Interesting! Really cool knife! I agree more knife videos would be great! After all, your channel might as well be Tinker Talks Whatever The Hell He Wants To!
A beautiful blade my friend . That and the Yakutian knife are my favorites for their uniqueness.
I would like to see more knife and other "tool" videos
Thanks for the input- I'll see what I can come up with.
you are a man of many talents. And your years of edge weapons experience really shows. A very beautiful and practical knife. Thanks for taking the time to show it off. Bravo, my friend.
While I applaud your authenticity in the video I also feel your pain when attempting continuous video while real life things happen. I remember this so well from work training videos I made for many years.
For many years I worked for a company headquartered in Norway and traveled there a few times. I kick myself for not buying one of their traditional hunting knives. The last trip in 2007 I had 1 picked out but thought I'll wait to find 1 for less than $200.00. Now I really wish I'd bought that incredibly beautiful 4'' blade knife
Well said!👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸
I'm not a hunter or really even a camper. But I used to fancy myself as something of a bushcrafter, and I went to a three day survival class at Randall's Adventure Training. I was the only dude there with a little Mora Clipper. I definitely found myself at a disadvantage shelter building, clearing brush, and most other tasks compared with the guys with 6 to 9 inch blades. Firebuilding was a wash between their knives and mine. The only tasks where the little Mora really shone were in dressing a rabit, and the light carvinv tasks we had. I tend to prefer stouter knives now.
Mora knives are excellent, but smaller knives have their limitations.
I was just about to ask who made it when you said that you got tired of pounding 5160 flat. Nice work. The flare at the pommel is also useful for drawing the knife while wearing mittens. Gloves don't cut it in sub zero Temps and mittens aren't the best for enhanced tactile sensation. Several times I've had knives work themselves loose from my grip while wearing mittens. The flare at the pommel keeps it in your grip ounce out of the sheath to. Not surprised you are a knife maker. You are obviously handy with steel, wood and antler.
Yes, I have been making knives and swords full-time for over thirty years. For a long time I specialized in the knives and swords of the European Middle Ages and the Viking Era, but there were always side-excursions. These days age and health has me making more knives than swords.
Good for skinning reindeer

Snap cutter not a machete, sobs!
