Definitely great to have laying around.. would work really well for small touchups on statues. Even for beginners being how quick and easy it is to use.
This stuff looks pretty useful and fairly easy to apply. I've never liked using my 3d print resin to fill gaps because it contains UV inhibitors to only allow it to cure to a very shallow depth. If your gaps are deeper than the thickness of a vat clean layer in your printer then 3d resin is unsuitable for the job. Thanks for the preview!
I feel like it would make more sense to apply the paste or wax where the gap would be, then glue the pieces, clean up excess putty, then cure the putty
@@patrickbroadhead1982 how would you get glue into the area if the paste is already there? What you actually could do, is skip the glue all together and just use the resin as a bonding agent. Curing the resin will seal the two pieces together. Personally I like to use glue first but it's definitely an option. The resin is a strong polymer which acts as glue.
Not sure about the look but it works well.. just not as cost effective as baby powder and resin but it does make it more convenient. I can see it being good for a beginner/casual user.
Cool stuff, I've never used this putty, can you tell me if there is a liquid version of this product? Overall, excellent result, dries in one minute, and I almost forgot, please tell me if this putty has any shrinkage?
@@александрсамойлов-ж3ч there's no shrinkage with this putty. I definitely recommend picking it up. As for a liquid version, that would just be straight up UV resin out of the bottle. This product is UV resin formulated into a paste so it's easier to work with for repairs.

Hi Eric, just saw your video. Happy to say very informative and a learning experience. Thanks for the review on this product. 👍💯
Thanks for watching. It's a great product to have around for repairs.

Yep exactly... would have to be built up in layers for anything deep. Nice to have for small little repairs.

@itsallthingsart just putty around the edge, don't cure it yet, glue it, clean up squezeout of the putty, then cure.
The paste doesn't look as good as using baby powder with resin.
