I think she displayed the most growth when she blew the fence out the concrete when trying to rescue Tyler (I think his name was) from becoming the source apprentice. I also loved when her, and Phoebe broke into that museum and stole that thingy (forgot what it was) and she blew up the glass but froze it before it could actually finish shattering and hit the ground. 🔥🔥
so did phoebe when she had the power of empathy. Phoebe could solo an entire room of demons by herself by deflecting their attacks. They had to nerf her

But looking at Charmed as a whole, I really wish they never gave her this power. Yes, Shannen and Holly confirmed in the "Let's be clear" podcast that Alyssa was building a case against against the show since season 2. So by mid Season 3, Shanned already got word from the executive producers that she'll be let go. That's why they had time to write Prue's off and give Piper an active power by end of Season 3.
Time is movement I think that it made sense that she could control the speed of molecules. Not that the powers even have to be connected with phoebe they went from premonitions to levitation. Empathy made sense with premonitions more but they don’t always have to connect. Like Chrissy was a fire starter with telepathy not really related powers. The whitelighter powers mostly make sense they are almost all centers on protection. Being called, sensing the location, healing, orbing, ect and then Paige’s telekinesis just manifested through orbing instead of through solid movement which is actually better when she can just call for the book of shadows from two floors away. Plus piper was the last one to get a second power pure got astral projection which is a supportive power but not as strong as orbing. Phoebe got levitation, what should they have given piper? I think they did good with her power it made more sense than prue or phoebes

It was weird to me that made her astral form be physical meaning she could hit or throw things but not be hit by a fireball. It was most successfully used as a form of transportation. That’s why I compare it to orbing but a weaker form.

I THOUGHT SHE HAD IT WHEN SHE WAS BATTLING BILLY AND CHRISTY AND SHE WALKED IN SUPER SPEED TO CLEAN UP -BUT THEY DIDNT SHOW THAT . THEY SHOULD GIVE HER THE GIFT OF CELERITY . THIS WAY SHE CAN REALLY SPEED THINGS UP . OR MAYBE SHE CAN CONTROL AGING AND BE OLD OR YOUNG HERSELF.
She did end up getting a 3rd power in the comics after the TV series (Season 8) ends and the series is continued through comic book form! Basically her powers advance to molecular acceleration as a 3rd power - the ability to reverberate molecules at a speed which causes them to rapidly heat up and at times becoming disordered (often resulting in melting or ignition). Hence her powers end up being molecular immobilization (freeze), molecular combustion (combust), and molecular acceleration (melt/ignite).

Like we can kill majority of demons more faster & easy and call it a day. Can u imagine the people in charge of coming up with spells rhymes all the danm time for every demon or situation is exhausting and repetitive. so they decided to go that route. So for the show creators the best way to get way with it is piper can destroy them esily, lets give her that and that be our excuse and justification. And then after that her power never grew more into other things. They stayed the same. I guess her freezing power could only advance/ evolved into that and thats it?. Also can u imagine her exploting an actual human oh god that would be insane lol.

Prues astral projection made sense because she had telekinesis she should be able to move her body to me projection powers go with telekinetics❤
