First the song, then the arrangement and then we get blessed with Diana's presence. And THEN they nail it with that piano- guitar outro, absolutely stunning.

I took my husband to see her show, at the Hollywood Bowl, for our anniversary, August 25, 2012. I had arranged with Ms. Krall's fan club, to go backstage afterwards. We got to meet her and got a pic of her with my husband. Her people were awesome to arrange that, for my husband, who had terminal brain cancer. He died several months later...

Masterful, sophisticated, elegant and so flippin talented! The jazz notes, off beat timing with her vocals and playing is so ridiculously amazing! So seasoned, oozing with natural musicianship and music is her soul. This is true talent from Ms Krall and her band, with no rubbish auto-tune needed! Been a fan for decades! Shes a beast on the keys! Looks like Lisa Presley.

    This is one talented woman.
I remember buying Billboard magazine and when she released an
Album she would hold the number one spot for months and then I found out why.
Her music is out of this world.

For me beautiful music is something you can dive into and do not pay attention you've drown.
Something when you suddenly understand it's stopped playing and it is too quite in the room.

This remarkable woman's astonishing gift shines through just as much during her piano accompaniment and solos as it does through her singing. In other words, she's been blessed. Really, really blessed. And so too are we blessed to have her. Ya, done pretty good, kid. Ya done pretty good.

That " original singer" was the gorgeous Miss Julie London, & she did it with that smokey, torch-song voice that made her so distinctive.-------Wolfsky9
