Can i say this game gives me a sense of dread and hopelessness? The mere concept of the Mitas is kinda sad, you are born and chosen, and you go too your room and stay there waiting for a player too play with, that's it, you are just like the others, you are not special, you have the same name, if not, you are just a type, and you can't die, because you respawn and forget your entire life, being reset, but you aren't really free, and the ones that want too be different, become sad, mean, crazy and desperated in a identity crisis, and the "failures" are send into darkness, not being played with, and with no hope of even seeing a player, i hope there's a good ending where we turn off the servers and free these non-existent souls in this purgatory they call home in a future update, they are machines with souls, stuck in those same walls everyday, stuck in a loop of repeating the same life, eating the same thing, playing the same thing, we the player aren't so different too the Mitas in the canon of the day, they are miserable and they don't have hope of getting a better life
it creeps ms out, I'm a girl, the beginning of the game started so cute and wholesome she seemed so sweet, but the way her face looks creepy and her legs triggers me, it creeps me out
They're just lines of code in a game engine, so they are not really suffering unless they are alone in which case they can't serve their function. It's the ones who don't have players that are sad. I get how like, it's sad on a conceptual level sure, especially since they are so expressive and alive, but they are still just videogame characters and don't really 'need' more from their existence.

I think part of what makes weeping angels terrifying could be some sort of prey feeling. Like, you feel hunted and stalked because it only ever moves when you can’t see it. Possibly a similar fear to being stuck in the dark, unable to see.
