Goddess pulls very lavender on me and no vanilla. Because of the heavy lavender in Goddess it does remind me of MG. I wish I got the vanilla from Goddess like you do! Thanks for sharing!
That is awesome that you received it from Burberry!!I was looking for a replacement for Mon Guerlain, and stumbled upon it. The notes were what attracted me, and I am so glad I bought it. It is a really pretty fragrance. I use it for a bedtime perfume. I get maybe 4 to 6 hours longevity. Definitely not the same as Mon Guerlain. 🍂🍁🥰

I prefer goddess to mon guerlain it’s very powdery on me for me it’s similar but Burberry is so yummy and classy at the same time sort of luxury thanks 🙏

I got a full size (1oz) and travel spray in a set from Ulta. I saw same set on sale at Ulta for $15 less.
I say that goddess is what I wanted Kayali 28 to be, sans the lavender. All vanillas, not the smokey, vamilla extract woody stuff, just vanilla.
However, I've had a similar experience as your friend. Lavender dries down more prominent. Longevity is next to zero. I get a couple hours out of it. I desperately wanted this to be theeee vanilla. I find myself layering with other things to try and make it pop and last. Burberry is my favorite designer house. I hope I can come back in six months and it's everything I want it to be. Black opium Le Parfum is taking the vanilla spot for now
BG gives me a headache. It smells too perfumey to me. It doesn’t read vanilla on me. I just purchased MG. It was on sale. Hoping that works for me.
How was it?
I really hate Mon Guerlain on me, but Goddess is gorgeous and warm and almost milky/musky. I’m kinda sad though because I go anosmic to it after around an hour, but others can smell it on me.
I don’t get any lavender on my skin either. I get this warm and cozy and velvety vanilla. I absolutely love this fragrance!

Great review! I agree that Mon Guerlain is definitely less sweet, more “perfumey”. Goddess is very sweet to me. The vanilla comes across as almost custardy and thick, IMO. I will say, the more the wear Goddess, the more I like it! I have a travel spray and will definitely pick up a full bottle once I’m done with it. While I don’t find the two similar at all, I do prefer Mon Guerlain if I had to pick between the two.
Ohh I think I would get the Kyse lavender scent to layer!
This one is lovely. Something about the vanilla is reminiscent of La Belle to me.

I got a travel spray. Its nice and easy to wear but i dont think ill repurcase when its gone.
Goddess is the same on my skin. I feel like the lavender just softens the vanilla without being prominent. Mon Guerlain is weird on me but not sure what is in it that causes this.

It is interesting how a perfume can be so different on skin to people. 😊 Our body chemistry are amazing.

I get the same as you, a hint of lavender and oodles of vanilla and it LASTS. I love it so much. And I love tihota (I have the Dua dupe) and so it’s such a win for me. I wish I’d bought the 100ml but I stupidly bought the 50ml 😬🤣💗

I got a travel spray to test. No comparison imo. I don’t like it. It’s a bit too sweet and smells like everything else
I mistakenly blind bought this and all I could smell was lavender laundry scent beads or lavender fabric softener. Not a fragrance for a person to wear on their skin, more like a home scent product. Returned it.
We all have different experiences with fragrance. It’s not like that on everyone.
