I bought an iPod Video 5.5 from Elite Obsolete Electronics, and the front panel cracked immediately within a few hours of gentle use. Also, the songs would not sync in the proper order on the albums. I emailed about a refund or a fix and I have not received any response back.

Thank you for keeping iPods alive and accessible. The iPod classic is my absolute favourite iPod of all time. I had a 7th gen when I was in school. It replaced my Creative Zen Video, which is probably why I took to the iPod Classic so quickly, as it did everything my Zen did but better. Other than mixing up Blink-182 and The Offspring Greatest Hits, they were pretty amazing devices but the Classic was just simple and easy. Ever since my iPod died, I've tried to find something to replace it, where I got the same excitement. I tried going back to Creative but those got smaller in every way. After the Classic, it felt like music players lost their soul.
Nice idea but total lack of customer service. Had to start a dispute with the bank to return money when that guy could not properly organize the delivery and refused to take any responsibility.

Highly recommended! If you’re ordering from Germany definitely consider the tracked shipment by UPS even though it’s pretty expensive. DHL (the regular postal service in Germany) is an absolute mess. They lost the shipment here in Germany. Fortunately I got my money back from EOE and ordered again (with UPS).
Just ordered a bunch of parts from you. The faceplate you sent me is defective. It is badly bulged and there is a gap between the clear screen and the coloured faceplate. I've emailed you about this twice and I've contacted you through your website. No response from you. Your response times are terrible. In your video you state that if you "do the best work in the industry, people will come". Ignoring my emails about a bad product is far from doing the best work in the industry. I expect better. You should have replied within 24 hours by telling me that you've sent a replacement that you've personally inspected for defects. That would be the best work in the industry.
