This chapter was slow but important..
I mean we got to know Nick's emotions and what he was going through during his final moments of his mortal life.
He was truly "The Friend" for MC and cared for him dearly.
The message also showed us the grim reality of nick being killed for nothing. he was smart enough to know the so called friends he has except MC are not friends but enemies or wolf in sheep's clothing. Hope MC could do him justice by catching the killer.
Interesting thing during the eavesdrop was steve and pete owned the max shares of woosh which were about to be sold off. steve's line however was colored deep red, not that it could mean anything but it's worth to be noted as he was in deep gambling debt and this could be his way out. also pete is in the same suspicion circle as well. Both have a clear cut motive.
But there's also this thing that i just can't clear Liz of all suspicion along with her partner in crime angelina. everytime the camera pans out to her she looks like she's hiding a entire graveyard in her closet lmao
I could be wrong but hey, i can't trust no innocent face in a murder mystery book especially after the duffy scenario.

Both dislike Medhani
Steve has a lot to lose should Nick give away his shares.
Crystal flip-flops like no one's business and is also up to her eyes in debt.
Chapter 7-Steve and Crystal got close when Crystal had a few drinks in her. Maybe a drunken mistake led to more before the events of the book.
Steve COULD be blackmailing Crystal since he's the guy who seems to know something about everyone.

Killer or not, Crystal is annoying af. The dead girl literally and blatantly blamed her. She should get off her high horse.
Liz is still very suspicious. Pete too, because every character has dirty laundary and we haven't heard his yet, and his game character description was something like "he is calm until he needs to bare his teeth".
