Photographing, MALLARDS?! || Bird Photography, Beautiful light

I´ve just gotten my Z8 back from nikon repair center due to unfortunate events of me dropping my camera and totally ruined it... haha.
So what better than go out and spend a relaxing morning at the local wetland
in hopes of photographing something, in this case mallards.. yes mallards.
Very tired morning, didn´t think about making a video until very late in the session I was just going out on a debute session with my camera but when the colors hit I couldn´t resist recording a video.
Things I would talk about in the video if I thought about it in the moment would be, taking photos of birds and wildlife can be quite challening and all you want to do is photograph beautiful birds and animals, maybe some rare once as well and I know this feeling very well.
Moving away from the city back to my home town has giving me personal issues to where to find wildlife, exciting places and exciting birds. I´m, as you properably could figure out if you´ve seen my other videos - A sucker for waterfowl and shorebirds.
So not knowing where to photograph or what to photograph I decided to go look for light instead, trying to capture beautiful light to compliment beautiful wildlife and in this case mallards.
So if anyone reads this description and this is proberably a topic to make a video about, don´t look past the common species because in the end it´s all about the light and atmosphare.
