  • These verses, attributed to Saint Samand and referencing the insights of Vedavyas, depict a prophetic vision of Kalyug, the age of darkness and moral decline in Hindu cosmology. They foretell a time when materialism will prevail over spirituality, familial bonds will weaken, righteousness will wane, and societal values will erode. The verses serve as a cautionary reflection on the challenges and changes that humanity may face in an era marked by moral degradation and the loss of cultural and spiritual traditions.
