I have a question once partner profile is created, can I do the changes in partner profile via WE20 tcode.
In video you have shown that we added new message type, so instead of going to distribution model, can we directly add it in WE20 setup?

You can create an IDOC and if it fails because of target system then at least you have an idea you done the steps correctly.. If you really test end to end then you need one more to check this scenario.
