Good teams learn from their mistakes and this team never learned. Coach Deboer is going to need to work on his Oline play , QB play & special teams production. Defense does a good job in the red zone. I hope they improve on being disciplined and refrain from getting personal fouls in crucial situations. Roll Tide!
Thank you, Jake, for being a voice of reason! Give Deboer a chance and his staff as well. Hopefully, you're not on the Keelon Russell starting band wagon. That's a recipe for disaster. He may be great in a couple of years, but not now! It's either Ty or Austin in 2025.

@brooksphillips2234 those two are called outliers. The likelihood that a true freshman can start and win consistently(every week) with the 2025 schedule that we have is not very good. Don't complain if he starts, and we lose 3-4 games and are looking at the CFP from the outside in. I guess you can just blame Deboer.
DeBoer#1 problem is that after a loss a bad one like the last 2 U dont hear.. Thaaat was INEXCUSABLE effort and we were outcoached and we shouldve established the run... biggest sin this year was lack of good situational play calling.. 💯
The oline was bad under Saban his last year and it didn’t get fixed in 2024. If it doesn’t get fixed this year it’s going to be disappointing again. The defense also has to get better with third down efficiency. We were not sound vs the run this year and we also need a guy that can heat up the qb off the edge.

Sheridan’s lack of adjustments were terrible. But you are right about DeBoer. Behind him 💯

You know, numbers wise the season didn’t end up that terribly bad. But if you look at like the Vandy game. Pam did lose, but it was a game. The Oklahoma and the Michigan games weren’t even games. Pam didn’t even try. That’s what makes it disgusting
I think the season ended horribly bad numbers wise! Milroe had 10 turnovers in their last 3 games and besides the Mercer game he hasn't thrown a td pass to a wr since week 7 at Tennessee! They lost to 3 unranked teams and even struggled in their wins! Also who the hell is Pam? 😂
There’s one thing I do get a little bit tired of. This coaching staff did an adequate job. They didn’t do a great job because they can’t make adjustments. They can’t coach people up to be better than they are really. I guess we’re gonna see with the players that they bring in. But just know if adversity strikes these guys are not gonna be reactive and fix things. That was obvious by this year.
DeBoer should be strung up for Vanderbilt and Oklahoma.

Don't need Grubb let him be an analyst. Makes no sense to fire Sheridan after what he's being paid. This is Deboers offense... They can't hire a coach only for his offensive coordinator that just got fired after 1 year without him

Sheridan is horrendous. It’s like he didn’t know Jalen wasn’t a pocket passer. Lack of adjustment was UNREAL.
You do realize we ran the ball a total of 488 times and passed a total of 354 times so what would you have liked to run the fucking triple option I mean you should really go look at the stats before you act like Alabama just played the damn air raid in fact we had 1 more rushing attempt than all of our opponents combined against us lol
I am only a fan. I am spoiled by the Bear and Nick. I am hopeful that BAMA can continue to be a constant participant in the CFP moving forward in the “Age of TP / NIL”.
I wonder about the recruiting and whether or not a team stacked with so called 5 stars is smart or actually stupid. Think about it…
Now, don’t blame the kids… blame the system.
It will be interesting to see how the situation with QB recruit (Keelon) works out. Based on his words and maybe promises made, the QB room will either explode or he will likely leave at first opportunity.

I do think this team from 2024 suffered from a
Lack of good team leaders. Booker for as good as he supposed to be, couldn’t do it. Melro couldn’t do it. They definitely needed some grizzly veterans to keep them in line.

I sit here and read these comments. And I can tell from the comments some of the people that comment don't really pay attention to the game. J.M wasn't the problem. Just go back to the 1st half of the Georgia game. The play calling wasn't the same since. Plus the right side of the offensive line wasn't good. K.D just got to get what fits his system. These fans acting like Bama just fell off. It's his 1st year, stop it. Good things are going to come

Sheridan showed very poorly imo... ie where the hell was screen pass game.. Jamm and justice should've both averaged 10-12 carries game w 5 targets between in the pass game and betcha that wins last 2games

How many freshmen are starting in the CFB playoffs this year? NONE! Nicole was a star+ and he was marginal this year as a redshirt freshman. Bryce wasn't ready either.
Sorry Jake but Sherridan sucked as OC. I saw no game planning and no halftime adjustments the whole year. The Georgia game was the exception and even that game Sherridan didn't have a plàn for the Bobo adjustment. I just don't think Sherridan wants to be at Bama.
Try coaching a running back to be QB/RB, should’ve at least tried Ty out some this past season when Milroe was not producing anything for our team.
