Hi Kevin. Tracey in Manchester here. You asked in a recent vid where you should go to next and well i think you should go to La Manga. The reason i say this is because i follow Northerners on tour and they went there and La Manga has a huge strip. Great channel by the way!
Most, if not all of the buses stop in front of the Town Hall near the Harbour where the Colossus of Rhodes used to be. From the Old Town along the seafront, past the cruise ships and the past all the day trip boats.
Ktel is the Rhodes bus service, bus station located as mentioned above. Get your ticket from the kiosk at the bus station before boarding. The buses are now very good and newish, they do have a timetable but run on GMT (Greek Maybe Time) so add 10 minutes to any published time. All the timetables are now on a QR code so just scan it at the bus station. I think it is €4.80 one way. 😀 Yet another great video, Yamas
When we've had a late flight from Lindos and had to check out early in the day, we have always found accommodation for a day, by going into the local shops and asking for a room to let. Usually you can get one for about €30. The community there is so tight, they will always know someone with a room to let. Hope this helps.👍👍
Absolutely beautiful and if these videos don’t do well It’s a damned shame. The journey to Lindos is about 1hr 45 and you should be able to catch the bus down by the town hall near Mandraki harbour ( where the statues of the stag and doe are )
That's too hilly, I'm not going up there! Wait until you get to Lindos, the first hill is a killer, there's hardly a flat bit and as for the walk to the acropolis, worse again. The bus is by the bazaar in the newish town, can't miss it but it takes over an hour to Lindos. The bazaar is worth a visit, shops, bars, cafes and the best Gyros around for me. The first time we went to Rhodes, we stayed in Kalathos, not far from Lindos. There was a heatwave, 48 when we arrived, cooling to 42 by the mid week.
Only just started watching the vid, but if you haven't, DON'T go to the bar near the castle that serves 4 pint beers in glass boots for about 14 Euro....well known on tripadvisor

There is a ferry from Rhodes to Lindos Kev, or there was when i was there.
We where going to Nerja for a few years, decided to have a break and went to rhodes, absolutely loved it, but already booked nerja for next year
