You are lucky. I always get contradicting transit interpretations when comparing moon and ascendant. I would say transits from ascendant shows more results based on observation probably because it represents the physical manifestation versus the moon which represents our mind and emotions.

Just make sure that you are not mixing up Western (tropical) and Vedic (sidereal) astrology. Western signs are 24 degrees behind Vedic. So it is possible that you are a Leo lagna as per Vedic ayanamshas, but Virgo as per Western.
