What a great look at what dry dock looks like.....and thank you for sharing your perspective of what it likes to live on a cruise ship! The joy that you all had on your face getting off the ship even for that brief moment and being on land....priceless! Thank you for all the hard work and dedication you put into your work and contract in making people like us enjoy the cruise. Happy to see you guys were able to finally get step foot on land for a while. All the best
Thank you so much for that! Always wanted to see up close views of how they look out of water. I so miss that "boopa de BOOP" of scanning my SeaPass on and off the ship. I'll hear that tone again in 6 days!
Wow! Amazing views of the ship in dry dock! She is a beauty inside and out. And much-needed shore leave at last. As spectacular as the ship is, you all needed to feel land under your feet after so long at sea. Thamk you for the tour.
I grew up with my dad working at the shipyard in Galveston, Tx. So when your in dock in Galveston look across at the shipyard and just think of my father. He worked there for 35 years. Starting at the age of 17 years old.
That was just the coolest thing ever to see. I am so glad you got to get off the ship for a bit and then to get a tour of it in dry dock. I loved seeing all that too and it certainly makes you wonder how that big thing stays afloat and upright in the water. I am now working on a 12 night cruise to the Southern Bahamas in April on R. C. Enchantment. I may have to pay for a Junior Suite to go, but I will do it because I feel this will be my last cruise. It is the exact cruise I had booked for next month that got canceled. I usually go with a AAA Group, but their group is full so they are trying to get me a cabin anyway, so I hope it works out. I have to pay for two people even though I travel alone. Seems unfair, but that is how it is. Thanks for the tour and wish me luck for getting on this April cruise.
Wow! That was so cool to watch. Thanks for showing us all the behind the scenes. And dang girl you hit that pole so hard you heard the pole make a gong sound lol. The slow mo made it even funnier😂
GREAT video, as usual !! 😎 I WISH I could look that CUTE in a hard hat !!! 😊 That ship is INCREDIBLE! Just think that was built by PEOPLE! What can be DONE when people work together!! ☺
Fantastic! Wonderful to see the spirits of the gang lifted by a brief jaunt off the ship and touring the dock facility. I never imagined non-operational crew would remain on the ship during dry dock. The Yellow/Green division of the ship reminds me of an MC Escher print of 2 overlapping worlds that do not touch (can't remember the name). Fascinating design! So grateful that Royal Caribbean let the performers stay on the ship and let you continue to vlog. Two questions: Does engineering keep one engine running or do you have a major conduit connected from land to provide electrical power during the dry dock? Are docking lines kept at tension during dry dock, or are they all slack? The ones I noticed were slack. TY.
Jordan…. It was so cool to see Adventure of the seas today in port at Galveston…. We’re you on that ship?? It’s so cool to think…. Hey I watch this girl that’s on that ship…. How long ago did it leave dry dock? Did you leave Galveston with passengers? I hope so…. I would love to ever be able to be one of those passengers!!! Thanks for the video!!!
Thanks again for sharing your video & glad to see you so happy. Hopefully you water 💧 microphone gets better. What changes are they making on the ship? As usual a great video. 😀👍
So on your way to Galveston? I almost booked that ship next week but my cousin blocked it at last minute. Tried to get entire family on her for Thanksgiving. :(
Thanks for sharing what a dry dock is like. I've always heard about dry dock, so, it was nice of you to actually show us. Did you see a lot of changes on the ship once everything was completed? Will the previous passengers will see it or were the changes to the ship areas not visible to the passengers?
Hi J can you set up a go fund me so we can get u a new camera and equipment. Thanks for the replay of the ramp collision ha ha . Loved the dry dock tour 👍😘🇭🇲
Cruisemapper reports the ship is currently in Cozumel. They have been at port in the US at least once since dry dock. IIRC, I believe Jordan noted there's a delay of several weeks to get a package through RC's delivery network.
Adventure of the seas has been back in the US for a while...J could buy more equipment, a gopro and harness for the ice or those $200 mic you talked about or better camera or even a giant pale of crunchy peanut butter don't care .
@@jbauth you been skating for 20 years got a 🎖and are humble and inspiring. Love your reaction when you're mum and dad send yoy champagne and chips everyone is on it and you volg it 👏
Yeah that mic is 🍳. I use the Rode Wireless Go - cost $200. Sound is great. I would cry if they got wet! 🙏 But, being on a ship, you should probably go with a cheap mic and order about three as spares, lol. I am testing out the Saramonic SR-XM1 but I need to re-test and make sure I actually plugged it in. The sound quality was TERRIBLE! Worse than the onboard mic. A shame because it’s only $25 so a great, cheap spare. But if it sounds like 💩 then it’s going back to Amazon
@@jbauth I really recommend it. You can be something like 1,000 feet from your camera and it will still record you. So you could get sounds on ice with your camera safely a distance away
@@jbauth I must've missed that one, The funny thing is I didn't notice anything until I saw Gab's video of you guys docking in France and he shows all of you and you can see someone hugging and kissing your head from behind! LOL I was like what a sec. how cute are they, why has she not said anything! But girl I get it, you want to keep your personal life a little more private.
Had to laugh “Jordan, that’s a sign you don’t need to worry about. The watch your head one”. I’m short also so totally got it 😂🤣😂
#shortpeopleprobs 😅🤦♀️
I love the amazing insight you give concerning life on board a cruise ship. Thank you
no problem ❤️

That was amazing to see. Glad you were able to get onto land. Very cool to see the stabilizers and other parts of AOS. Thank you so much!
glad you enjoyed, you’re welcome 😊😊
The Adventure is getting a Spa Day!!
That was what we needed as well! Never saw a dry dock close up like that!!!
glad to provide!! hehe
Yay for this! I put up with the makeup and clothing reviews for the chance to see these kinds of videos. Thanks for the peak beneath the curtain.

Sorry about the mic! I know the feeling with sound issues. Hope you can get another soon.
thank you 😇

very cool!
So happy they allowed you all to have this experience and Mahalo for sharing it with all of us! Did you get a big bruise?
no bruise luckily 😂😂
I feel for the ppl that have to saran wrap the whole ship! Thats a task and a half. crave this channel xoxo
Brilliant so happy you got to do this Jordan.
Awesome, these are the pictures I was hoping for Jord!
Nice reminder of when I did the exact same thing working on Explorer of the Seas in January 2010.
awee the nostalgia!
That was very interesting to see ! Thanks for the video.. I’m sure it’s not easy staying on the ship knowing your in France!
Wow that was so cool to see! That’s is something to be a part of and to have pictures of! Great job at showing us around!

Jordan how often do the ships go to dry dock??
GREAT video, as usual !! 😎

Smaller ships in the fleet. I remember going on Voyager of the Seas (Sister ship) when it was one of the biggest in the fleet 😂
Nice to see again. Two of my U.S. Navy ships were in drydock for a few months in San Diego, CA and also in Guam :o)
this was really really cool.. thank you so much fir being you..
Great vlog Jordan we cant wait to get on board in March hope to see you then
I’ll be signed off in march😭

How did you get to stay on the ship for the crossing and drydock? Do you request to stay on board?

we’re in galveston as our home port now!
Ahhh congrats girl that’s amazing!!! Your life is insane haha and I love following along for it! I can’t get over how big the ship is
The dry dock video was fantastic, loved it!! Thanks so much⚓️!
Such cool video !! Thanks for sharing Jordan ✌🏻
It would have been nice if the ship could have organized a crew outing - even just a bus tour. Fun video.

my pleasure as always!

wow I thought the front was the back and the back was the front... see what I know about ships. Ha ha. thanks for sharing
What an amazing opportunity for all of you. Not many people have been under a ship. Do you know what is being done to the ship?
So very interesting ❤
I miss that sound when scan your seapass so so much
it’s a special sound 🥲💙
That was AWESOME! I love stuff like this. Now back to watching the tour of a $75M house in France I will never own. :-)

😇🤗
This was a very good video and I learned a lot. Unfortunately, RC canceled our cruise on the Adventure of the Seas for this dry dock. It was a bummer.
i’m sorry!
Did you bend that railing you ran into? :-)
That was an amazing experience to see a ship in drydock!!
hahahahahah may as well have😂
Almost seems eerie at the end when everything was quiet and covered with tarps.
Seeing this was so so cool. Thanks 😊
of course xx
That was amazing!
Interesting video! thanks!
So interesting & cool to see all that. You are adorable......as usual. Take care.
This is so cool! Thanks Jordan!
no prob😊
That ship is a heckuva lot larger than the Isle Royale Ranger ferry boat, the closest thing to a cruise ship I've ever been on.
GREAT !!!!! Thanks
Love to watch your videos 💕
thanks zina xx
Way cool!
Hi J can you set up a go fund me so we can get u a new camera and equipment. Thanks for the replay of the ramp collision ha ha . Loved the dry dock tour 👍😘🇭🇲
She ordered a new camera. I think she just has to wait until they get back to America to be able to have it delivered to the ship
