In a scene, Jayam Ravi is combing through the computer of the serial killer (who has just admitted he's the killer) and the guy shows up. Jayam Ravi, instead of tying the guy up, orders him to shut up and sit down. This, obviously, leads to a tussle between the two just 2 minutes after. That's the kind of writing in this movie. Abysmal
To be honest I found Por Thozhil to be very average. It had a typical crime story of killings happening and they try to show one person is the killer but it turns out to be someone. It had the typical things and nothing fresh

Underwhelming is the right word. Death count on young women in movies is alarmingly high, esp in Iraivan. Even despite all these crimes, it's hard to connect with any characters in the movie.
This movie is waste. He feels like wasted on this film. Main actor just feels so confused and feels like has no power all the way of the film. Story is so predictable

What a rubbish movie. Totally emotionless with no regard to loss of human life. The characters seemed so normal with all the murders. The person who was after the killer was put under more pressure than the killer itself.

Not only this year. Por Thozhil is one of the best written thriller ever in Tamil cinema.

Jayam Ravi is a very talented actor but he should pick better scripts.
