It seems the tax is almost 45% from Kenyans income. This tax is more than USA tax. Taxed with no services. No roads, no medical equipment or medication. No security, no water or water sewage, no electricity, the school fees are high, while USA primary and high schools are free. No police services, no ambulances, no fire services, while USA all these services will be at your services in less than 5 minutes. Corruption is killing our lovely country.
Schools are not free in the USA. They are funded through property tax whereby homeowners pay a tax every three months to their local govt. The tax in USA for a lot of things is high and it’s very complicated; most people don’t even understand it.
@@mwananchi4726: I agree, but many can visually see where the taxes are going? Then, do you really need to understand it? Why bother, when you can see it everywhere around you in the USA. Everyone talks sh*t of my country but at the end of each conversation I realized the same will still want to knock at our door. You're welcome to come legally.
How much tax are insurers pay to the government every year...how much are their workers and indirect workers/earners paying yearly? Now if we think their revenue and all...how is the government going to get their tax...4.5% on the value that the insurers collects has a tax they remit to treasury...car owners will start paying insurance on a need by basis..and trust me 3rd party is the way to go...
Hio ya gari, siongei. Hapa diaspora tunalipa kila mwaka. Its called car registration. You pay that and you pay 3rd party in addition. We also have that fuel levvy. Infact if you don't register your car , you cannot drive it on the roads 😮
We are curious alot of what the gvt collect is ending into channels of corruption please think of the low income earners eg health care is no more again and we are paying let the previous packages be retained I mean comprehensive package was of great help to teachers
Some of us cannot offload our investments in Kenya fast enough! I cannot imagine Ruto is this incompetent and so poor at governance! There must be a strategy to destroy the Kenyan economy for self interests. Nothing else makes sense whatsoever!
😂😂😂😂...we have invited him to our inaugural BTN254 soccer tournament, and his office has confirmed that he will attend. We will cancel it once he is in the air, bure kabisa.
Hi there. I think it's high time that this government focuses more on Kenyans in the diaspora to bring in more investsments in our economy thus creating jobs and more revenue for the govt. without necessarily having to bow to IMF and World Bank pressures that come along with over-reliance on the external debts and FDIs. Who does the govt expect will invest in our EPZs, SEZs and now CAIPs if we can't woo our very own diasporans? But I understand this would really be an uphill task for the govt to undertake considering how low its accountability is to the taxpayers. Kenyan diaspora are obviously unwilling to invest in corruption and cartels laden economy as ours is!
@@itsTheTruthTeller I'm telling them so that they show the goodwill to clean that mess in order to encourage Diaspora investsments. And “them” refers to the govt in this case

@@Napolean46 now that's where the govt comes in. If this regime can clearly show the goodwill to fight corruption, Kenyan diaspora won't even need to be wooed. They would invest at their own volition obviously. The other thing for the govt to do is to offer the diasporans incentives to invest locally, like subsidies, tax breaks, lower tariffs etc. So GoK, the ball is in your court

@mwananchi4726, at least you can see where the tax goes in USA . Since this government started taxing what can they show what they have done..
