Hi Eldar, I would check to make sure you are in the top gear (3), and then check the P-settings....in particular make sure that P8 (Power) = 100. Hope this helps. Cheers
Good choice I've got one and it's a Beast to be honest wayyy to much power, so much so it makes me wonder what's the point of dualtron thunder and those motorway speed scooters. Bit ridiculous and ludicrous and if you love to live then you wouldnt do that speed consistent unless it's for climbing mount Everest I just don't get it. When I'm doing like 35mph on solar I'm praying there are no obstacles cars potholes people cats dogs footballs anything lol
That definitely sounds as though you’re missing sone power there bud...have you looked at your P-settings..? Id also check the voltage output to make sure the battery is ok. Cheers 👍
great video! Stuck between this model, the speedway mini 4 pro, and the apollo city. Mainly looking for a comfortable ride, decent hill climb, and portability. Dont need anything faster than 20mph so they all cover that nicely. What would u recommend?
Cheers buddy. Personally I haven’t tried the Apollo but I would say that the Mini is a better scooter than the Speedway. More comfortable ride and better build quality for sure….👍🏽
I gained I little weight during lockdown but lost it all now since the shops opened up so doing more work again even though I worked through it all. Have you tried a steeper slope like 20 degrees or even 30? Are the wheels not 8.5"? Also why is the front wheel rim made of plastic and not metal? I have seen a lot of people saying they have suffered cracked rims because of the plastic rim front wheel? Just wondering as I am still waiting for mine to be delivered into the UK, I was actually going to order one from you but your Klarna repayment options where not long enough sadly.. Cracking video and great to see a Dualtron Mini UK video at last
We should definitely look at trying to find out the max slope it can take a chunker like me up, but 10 degrees is a lot steeper than I imagined it was...you must need a rope to get up a 30 degree slope! Ha. Not sure about the cracked rims...we've given it a good going over and it's been fine so far. Nice one for the comment, gutted we couldn't get longer repayment options but hope you enjoy your new Dualtron Mini...it's a great scooter for the price in our opinion. Cheers buddy
Lee Schmidt We have got some killer slopes around here for me to test out that my Xiaomi cannot cope with 😂 Thanks for the reply back and for the information 👍
Hope you read this reply to me..i saw your video with 2 scooters between (Dualtron Mini And Kaabo Mantis) and you are 6ft tall just want to ask you if which is better (Mini or Kaabo?)thankyou if you read this and reply to me asap…
Hey , how smooth is the ride ? And is the acceleration trigger as uncomfortable as it looks?? I’m interested in buying but it has to be smooth and trigger has to feel comfortable and natural. I’d love a reply. Oh, I’m only 5ft 5 inch. Will this scooter be good for me? Or will it poss feel too high when trying to ride?
Hi Graham the scooter is nice to ride and has good suspension. You can adjust the torque settings so you can have fast / smooth pull off. The trigger can be adjusted to find the most comfortable spot. Personally I have mine set horizontal with the bars. The handle bar grip is about 110cm from the base of the board. Hope this helps 🛴
@@kudosgear773 cheers for getting back to me. So it was between the solar p1 or Daultron mini and I went with the solar p1, for a few reasons. It costed me £50 less then the Daultron mini and I got a seat with p1 and p1 has key start up and I think might be genially a little better. The only thing I was unsure about was what scooter would be the smoothest ride and I’m really really hoping that even if p1 isn’t as smooth as dualtron mini, that it will still be smooth enough. I thought the p1 looks a bit nicer then Daultron mini but I did think the neon lights on Daultron mini looked absolutely incredible but after thinking about it. When I’m riding scooter, I won’t really notice lights, as I’m looking at the road. And I may be able to do a diy job and fit some bright lights on the solar p1. Anyway, once again, thanks for getting back to me. I really appreciate it. 👍
@@grahamkelly8662 Hi Graham, I've got to say that the ride on the Dualtron is aweomse....very smooth and stable. However, I've also got to say that the spec on the P1 looks great given the price so hope you enjoy it - let us know how you get on! Cheers, Lee
@@leeschmidt5822 hi, Well, the Solar p1 arrived but unfortunately, I sent it back, a few days ago and waiting for refund. Call me stupid but I didn’t know that e scooters was illegal on U.K. roads. I only found out the day that my solar p1 arrived. I was just too worried about a possible £300 fine and Police can take scooter away. Plus, the Solar p1 is extremely heavy. I managed to get out of box but hurt my back, really bad and getting in and out of house would be a massive pain. Even tho I didn’t get to ride the p1, I can safely say, it’s incredible. Looks beautiful, has huge 10inch air filled tires, 4 suspension on front, huge suspension on back, key start up, dual motors, 40mph top speed, also had a seat so could ride sitting down and it has huge huge range. I’m gutted to have sent it back. I bought it to give me an outlet and bit of independence as I suffer depression, anxiety etc and don’t get out mush, because of this. I do have a small cheap e scooter but it’s really dangerous and unsafe, why I bought p1. I’m only using it to try at least get my money’s worth but I can’t ride on most roads because cheap scooter has hard tyres and no suspension and cracked roads are a big hazard and potholes are bloody life threatening, at 15mph on my crappy scooter. then there’s fear of police giving a fine and poss taking scooter away. The p1 cost nearly £1000 and was reduced from £1400 and I just couldn’t take risk of losing it. I bought e scooter to help me get out and be less anxious but because of the law, I feel extremely anxious, when riding. For instance, this evening, I decided to ride to a park about 2 miles away and see if it has smooth enough surface to ride on. To get there I just need to ride on a main road, virtually straight. I literally got a tiny bit up the road, traffic lights was red, so I stopped and directly opposite me was a Police van. I panicked and didn’t know what to do. As lights went green, instead of going straight, I turned left , police didn’t follow but was scary. So I’m hoping solar will give me a full refund and I’ll take a risk riding my crap scooter. Won’t be as much as a lose if Police take it. I hear that this year or next, the law may change and if so, I will see if Solar have another great scooter that isn’t crazy heavy. Failing that, I may go with Dualtron Mini but if I’m being honest, I don’t think the law will change regarding e scooters in U.K. anytime soon. I can deff see the roads being free of cars and full of e scooters in the future. It’s clearly a better move but exactly when this will happen, won’t be for many many years.
Thanks Conor, I thought we had set it to max output but this was a while ago so I'll go back, have another look and let you know if I find any more power! Cheers
My settings are... P7 on 2, (zero is the fastest start) P9 is on 2 and I have P8 on 80%. This gets me up 26 mph + and I get more mileage with these settings. (But I only weigh 8 and half to 9 stone)
Vsett 9+ just came out around the same price point with dual motors and actual brakes so this isn't looking good m8 (cmon 29mph and not even a front brake you gotta be shitting me)
Yes Dread! I would say that we love the Dualtron Mini due to the comfort of ride and build quality as much as the performance. Out of interest, what would you say is the best scooter for under £1k in terms of performance...? Will see if we can do a head to head comparison.

I just purchased one for my 18yrs old son yesterday & he's a first time scooter rider but loves it..👍🏽
I'm sure he does love it - it'll be much better than the standard entry level model (no need to name names.....)
Just heard you say 13ah explains a lot. Here in NYC it’s 16.4
Does the lights on the side only come with the limited version or are they on all the Dualtron Mini models?
all version
It will go faster than 30 if you disconnect the speed limiter. 30 is fast enough for me.
how do you make it go faster than 25kmh, mine is stuck on 25 but it can go 40
