Fresh Boy Well, for one, your Dream Eaters cannot fall off the screen as they’re in a fish tank type of area. This means you’ll have the entire time limit to collect those flowers. You also had more freedom of movement because you could move the bubbles at any direction instead of from the bottom with bumpers. Finally, you could manually detonate the red bombs instead of having to pray that you don’t hit them in this version, because that means you can move your pets EVEN FASTER towards the green flowers.

(I managed to beat Sora's side without grinding meaning I didn't have to worry about dropping anymore).
lazydaze6 KH3’s combat, I have to say honestly, was much inferior to KH2, and even KH1. I don’t know who in their right mind decided that the team who designed the mediocre combat systems of the handheld titles make the gameplay for KH3. WAY too gimmicky, and fucking piss easy, too. No Final Fantasy characters, no actual original stories from the Disney worlds (the retellings weren’t even that great, they just rehashed story events from those movies with little mixing up), lame ass final world and boss, less badass moments from KH2, and just... I expected more, man. But I really shouldn’t expect anything good from Nomura, the man gets knocked on for his poor storytelling skills.

But compared to the mini-games, I'd rather halt my gameplay progress for some repetitive gamepklay rather than do any of those again.
Arexion5293 I find grinding usually fun because there’s ways to optimize how fast you’re grinding and you know what you’re going to get in the end, plus it’s just a time where you get to relax and enjoy some combat for a bit without fighting something that can 1 shot you (level 1 anyways) and it gives you a reason to revisit areas you might otherwise not be returning to, besides in KH’s case you’re usually getting normal xp or synthesis items at the same time anyways

But this is just a very salty person's opinion. I probably only like KH2 and shove my roxas plushie into everybody's eyeballs.
*Correct?*
I disagree, 358/2 was the pinnacle of KH

To get new abilities in Kingdom Hearts 3.
You will have play the 2D mobile game in Twilight Town.
If that’s the case just end me now.
you mean the fucking game and watch minigames
@Whipper of Merchants because they've stuck with it being an mmo. 14 sucked at launch but they kept fixing it over time. Tried to do the same with single player games and we know how unfinished ffxv was (i still like it a lot, but damn did it feel incomplete)
If this is true I´m officially waiting for the Switch version.
No that’s for the Starlight Keyblade to use in game which one is dumb and two you get it during the end and three it has the same exact starting stats as the Kingdom Key before you upgrade anything
Sure seems like finding that Oblivion in Kingdom Hearts 1 was “TOTALLY” overshadowed by the Starlight.
This video is absolutely timeless to me
Finally someone that recognises the 1k heartless limit form grind. Abusing MP rage and spamming Sonic Rave with either Hidden Dragon or Oathkeeper
jamming to la la la puts hair on your chest
Say what you will, I'm just glad we finally got a Kingdom Hearts game that lets us pet the cute animals.
We never got to pet Zero and I'm not okay with that.
Kingdom Hearts 2: new abilities feel unique and will be felt in combat
Kingdom Hearts 3D: new abilities are almost completely inconsequential, the only ones you’ll need are second chance and once more
the only thing you need for DDD is balloons

That moment when you now know that the Dream Eaters are all past Keyblade wielders.
After UX's ending, you better apologise to the dream eaters

The real kicker that I just found out is the abilities you unlock from the dream eaters don’t stay unlocked unless you have those dream eaters in your party. Yet the support abilities stay....-_-
Yup. So if you have dream eaters with HP boosts in your party and take them out, your max health will drop

By the wae to avoid any misunderstanding if there's any, spirits are not dead keyblade wielders. They are graves for the dead keyblade wielders and their chirities
*THE VIRGIN, KH2*
*THE CHAD, DDD*
I got this in my recommendations one year after its release but it's still SO relatable!
Recent union cross update changes the perspective. You spend time with ancient keyblade wielders and get abilities😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Their abilities tho
Ah, so someone finally shows the superior skill system of the chad DDD compared the virgin KHII
Where's BBS high melding IQ featuring Stich double CP skill
don't forget the command board...
I only used the comand board once to get a cure to Ventus before his first boss in all 3 stories.
Its not all that mandatory.
When I found out you could open and close that mini game and still get ex for it, it made my life so much better
I'm glad that Rock: It's Your Decision is catching on.
I truly hated the dream eaters in DDD. it's like Square enix thought, "Hey lets mash up party memebers, equipment, and abilities into a system that nobody will like"
Yeah, felt like a missed opportunity to have The World Ends With You characters in your party or some of the other cool characters like Rinzler/Tron or Musketeer Mickey. Instead we get rejected pokemon we need to keep cycling through and playing minigames with
So basically a repeat of the Command Board except way worse

You can actually just quit the mini games and get the same amount of points.
The more you know 🌠
Are you sure because I got very varying amounts of LP from when I did bad at the minigame, like 200-300 points, as opposed to when I did really good, 500-600. It seemed to me like your performance was pretty important.
@@pita12045
Yes and no. You can get more per minute by quitting, but it costs more munny (but even then you probably have too much to know what to do with).
I didnt even know there were minigames. I occasionally petted the dreameaters but mostly just fought with sora and riku. I got everything i needed with the help of a walkthrough
I actually had a real problem with munny in my playthrough since I tried to beat it without serious grinding and got to the final boss at like lvl 35 with both characters, though after like an hour of water barrels and monster farming I was close to lvl 50 as Riku. (I managed to beat Sora's side without grinding meaning I didn't have to worry about dropping anymore).
As someone who likes DDD, you summed it up perfectly.
It was worth it for the music in DDD, fight me
The Virgin DDD vs the Chad KH2

A whole training montage for KH2 and then a mobile game for DDD.
Then you remember that KHIII is made by Osaka Team
Léo Sora But with guidance and help from core members from Tokyo team....Soooo To Hope
Doesn't look that promising...
lazydaze6 KH3’s combat, I have to say honestly, was much inferior to KH2, and even KH1.
@@anayos6726 Ironically, it was appearently nomura that is responsible for KH3s combat not being a command deck combatstyle and that forced Osaka to make it any good.(When it comes to command decks btw, literally just give that to H.A.N.D., square. Recoded proved to me that they at least know that the basic gameplayloop of using the standardattack, dodging and blocking is supposed to work correctly)
@Danrye 001 first off, you don't neat to say "command deck shouldn't be in Kh3" twice in a row. Also, what is the point of your comment? I literally just stated what I heared it in no way even looked like "I wish command deck was in KH3."
I actually had no idea the minigame for dream eaters s like that in the ps4 remake of the game. The 3DS is much better.
I never realized it looked like Sora was break dancing with final form fire.
0:03 finally someone that understands That you can level up Limit form in the 1000 Heartless battle. I've seen people who only use Rising Sun even in kh2fm where you can use limit form and level it up quickly.
I stg Kingdom Hearts 3D was the most embarrassing gameplay to play infront of the squad
I totally agree
the fact that you need to level up your link with a random spirit to get such a important ability as dark shield is insane
Sora :fire *does a break dancing spin*
The nobodies: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
i am one of the guys who likes 3d(i played it on 3ds where the minigames arent that weird to play),but i will rightfully trash what is wrong with the game......only gaining abilitys via dreameaters is one of those things xD
that one aspect killed it for me so i booted the game up on beginner and ran through it as quick as i could. i enjoyed the final world
I actually enjoyed 3d while it was brain numbing at times. Mainly because of their EXTREMELY broken properties
i really hate half the bosses, but i still somehow played through critical without spamming ballon only first keyblade no once more(the levelgrind for yx was real)
I think the concept has some value, but the execution was dreadful.
well, its completely fine that its one way to get abilitys.the problem really is that its the only one xD and the game also throws out multiple good things that were in recoded too,so yeah
I always thought grinding for forms was annoying in KH2, but jesus christ I had no idea it was going to get so much worse.
Arexion5293 how is actually playing the game annoying when the other side of the spectrum is playing mini games for abilities lol KH2 did it the best but it can take too long for the last level of abilities for forms tbh
@@SSlash I've never been a fan of grinding. It feels like a loading screen where you play the easy already mastered parts of the game over and over again until you finally unlock the thing you wanted. It's just waiting for stuff to progress.
How is spamming a single button against fodder "actual combat"?
Master form is boring to level up
He didn’t know you could quit out of the mini game and still get rewarded
that music is pretty chill though
in the 3ds version i definitely know you can just start a mini game and quit out of it, and still get a shit ton of EP and LP
if there fixt it in PS4 version... Your remains will be honored
It still works on PS4 but even that is annoying and I can no longer sleep at night due to that music.

The pinball game is what you play when you go to bond with your spirits and use a water barrel toy. It's useful for grinding out LP since it doesn't take that long and gives a pretty insane amount
