The cool thing is watching these old clips of Superstar, WII, Masked Assasins, Ole Anderson, they were all very well spoken. They didn't have to yell and scream. Masked Superstar was one of my favorites back then, what a physique the guy had.

Iron Mike Sharpe was a top contender in the NWA before he came to the WWF and got reduced to "jobber" status in the WWF Shuffle. Sort of like Dolph Ziggler nowadays!

He would bring the x-rays to the arena but would never show them to the promoter - not sure why..........
If you haven't already look up Terry Funk vs Bruce Walkup steel cage match from Florida Championship Wrestling. It's fantastic!!!! Unfortunately Bruce Walkup passed away at age 75 on April 7th 2016.

In hindsight, Backlund was being set up to lose the title and not look weak, just in case that Hogan experiment tanked.

Masked Superstar had such class, Axe I never liked and when I see his shoots interviews I don't like him.
