I have (26") Three piece Ashanti Wheels that are 15 years old that I want to re chrome the lip.. This video just helped me complete two rims .. I just ordered the silicone from amazon. Man this video is a lifesaver..i have a set of custom 22" Rucci forged swoops and 3 tires went flat
.took to shop they told me rims were bad.went to pick up, showed me where leaks were with soap and water..right near bolts where this seal is. would this process most likely be what i need to do so they do not leak. also is the process any different if 2 wheels (rear wheels) are deeper than the front two. not exactly sure what that is called when the rim is deeper but im sure you know what i mean. i can send pics if theres a way to contact you. these are for a custom ride and i have been in a panic for months trying to find replacements.. bought vehicle with these rims and all other custom work already done. looking forward to hearing from you

I know that I'm late to the party but this video although informative was not on my radar until I recently bent the outer lip of my Forgiato. Now I've been researching repair's and how to's and I came across your video. My question is do I need a special socket key to remove the bolts holding the wheel together. I noticed that you didn't.
I was told that you have to make sure the middle piece is perfectly centered or you will get vibrations at different speeds. I did not see him do this...How do you make sure its centered?

What socket was use to take the bolts off?
If you just take the faces off, Would you still have to reseal the wheel?
Yes you would still have to reseal it. Unfortunately taking the face off can break the seal. I recommend resealing it just to be safe and avoid issues 👍🏽

Hi i have the twisted maglia forgiato rims, i was wondering how can i purchase half of the wheel the hlaf that goes outside is good, its the back part of the rim shell idk the term for it sorry, Since i fell in pot hole and one side of the rim got bent “facing car” thanks boss👍

Great video bro,but honestly as much money as this companys and shops charging for this wheels they should fix any problem for life of the wheel.i guess thats why i will never buy a set.to much money.
