@@Ondablackhandside I felt like I was watching CNN... "SANCTION THOSE PEOPLE!"... The people of Niger are so poor they wouldn't even notice the sanctions. Maybe the people would not have revolted in the first place had they been treated better. Niger is a resource rich country, it should share the wealth more with the people. I expected Al Jazeera to understand this.
Why would Niger be in crisis? People were happy in the streets caring Russian flags. They couldn't be more happier than that. You mean there can be consequences for staging a coup? That's normal for Africa.
what has been the impact of democracy in Niger?
Kick every western power out of Africa now!!! Tinibu days are numbered Nigeria will not be used as a puppet against her brothers and sisters. NO
This Black dude must be living in Europe 🇪🇺 just listening to his utterances !
Illogical!
Ok let me summarize this …
Niger produced nuff raw energy inputs of uranium that goes to Europe, yet they depend on Nigeria for power??????
Can someone explain this nonsense!?????
they don’t have the infrastructure to refine the uranium. The price of un refined uranium ore is not very high and many of other countries have ore. So even if the new government takes 100% of the profits and distributes it perfectly fairly there isn’t going to be enough money.
Solar panels would sort their energy needs and then be free for 25+ years, no dependence on oil countries (like Nigeria)
@@mshepard2264
a) whatever the market price of Uranium Niger should get it not France;
b) Niger also sells other minerals like gold which they should benefit from, not some foreign Corporation.
They have plenty of wealth. They just need a fair price in a proper currency, not discount prices in French Colonial "monopoly money".
Enough with exploitation, job well done by our African brothers... colonialism disguised as aid should be shed off Africa... ✊️✊️
No African blood 🩸 should be spilled for France interests!
American state department will not have it in both. A coup is a coup, the state department should not sugarcoat the actions of military takeover of a democratic government
The American State Department finances and organises coups!
Victoria Nuland was handing out cookies (biscuits) in Ukraine as the CIA threatened to kill the elected president with a sniper.
Before we condemn Coup plotters why can't we give them a chance to sprout their grounds?
And investage about their claims? The west is not talking in account the needs of the populations. They want to "help" so start by listening to the people and stop dismissing Nigeriens' point of views
Best Wishes to Niger 🇳🇪 and The Russian Federation 🇷🇺 👍💞
The Africans are gettiñg wiser, and more assertive...the oppressors and the Remoras who are attached to the are lamenting because their profitable parasitical way of life has come to an end.
Bot comments not needed 😅
Lol the London and US dude are talking about improved health care blah blah blah 🙄 it shows their ignorance 🙄 and lack of basic knowledge.
The door is wide open for Boko Haram, AQMI, and other terrorists groups. Mercenaries, Wagner, will do good business in Sahel.
What comes first; The Chicken or the Egg. American military bases or Terrorists Camps?
Mali says it had less problem with terrorists when they got rid of the Western military.
Perhaps, as in Syria, they were funding and supplying the terrorists for their own purposes?
The USA funds terrorists world wide to put pressure on, or overthrow, governments who don't "cooperate"
Twins
Wagner bla bla
Electricity is not a military asset,it is a econimc and social asset, cutting electricty and talking about human rights and democracy is a strong example of hypocracy
The Kiev US coup cookie monster is not happy with Niger.
Can this please happen to Congo DRC, a bloodless coup. just to get our mines back
Goodluck to Niger. But you can't continue to disrespect Nigeria by not honouring it's diplomatic delegations.. If you think Nigeria will keep pampering you guys under military rule like we did to President Bazoum, you're dreaming..
We all want a multipolar world but not one ushered by the dictates of a gun
Nigeria should have shown respect first by not cutting off the power. How on earth is power supply related to politics? How is it different from the threats from the west on aids cut?Common people need it for their livelyhoods, unless the junta wanted it for free which I suppose not the case.
@@Joe-tr2vk lmao.. Electricity that they still owe us money.. They want their coup, let them face all the consequences. Feed your self, fund your budget yourself and provide electricity for your people.
@@benji9639 Did the junta refuse to acknowledge the debt? What prompted Nigeria to do that? Defending the interest of the west? It's really shame for a great country like Nigeria pandering to senseless orders from abroad, they have let the whole Africa down. I'm convinced they acted at the behest of some foreign powers
@@Joe-tr2vkhate the west all we want but their money runs the world even China have US dollars in its reserves
All we need is leaders that think for its ppl rather than their own interests
Military government don’t fix issues concerning economic growth and prosperity
@@Joe-tr2vkNo one in the west is giving Nigeria orders. It is probably the most powerful country in africa. They don’t take orders.
Africa the time is now we're educated we have the resources we have the power too work and forget about the west let's concentrate on our respective countries and develop but it has too start with believing in our self that we don't need the west too develop our countries they'll always come and still from us so let them go and leave us alone
why should they negotiate with washington...why????????..the civilians are backing their millitary..Congratulations to NIGER
Nigeria shame on you!!!
How do you restore him now amongst his own people and military??? They would be eager to off the restored gov, by any means
They seem to want to self destruct. Let em.
The military leader is huge. Looks like a statue . Huge jaw. Real African face 💪🏿
Who is this mysterious international community.
I believe that woman decided not to answer the French. Not surprising.
The west should let Africans breathe
Which is worst, inec coup in Nigeria and military coup in Niger?
Lol
Lol ,I know you are an igbo and you are wishing bad on Nigeria because your candidate lost ,but your mind is so blind with hate that you you forgot the only way for obi to ever become a president is through democracy, giving that all the top generals in the army in Nigeria are from the north a military junta in Nigeria will be the end of igbos presidential dream.
Before you talk always think , this is why igbo will never take power because of the hate in your mind.
@@godwinmarvo9012 I am not an igbo, but don't support evil. And lies
@@godwinmarvo9012 simple question, did tinubu win an election?
@@ogbeifuneugene2733 if you know the ethnic and religion demographics of Nigeria you will know obi never stood a chance of winning the election,
If he had run with atiku he would have stand a chance of winning because the northerners (you hate so much)are still the majority voters.
You can never be president without the northern support.
They all did not talk about the root cause of the problem even when the anchor gave a hint. They decided not talk about the real problem in those countries which is France
The implications are,no more such resources from Niger from occidental countries
Black independence is justice ⚖
Listening to the white participant and his hostile and plotting is infuriating. And the whole program is hostile
Western Media.
Quatar is part of The Big Game (and I'm not talking about African Wild Life!)
Shame on Nigeria
NO , SHAME ONLY ON THE SOCALLED LEADER PERIOD .
Shame on Niger for being corrupted with Russian bribes and money.
Africa needs to unite . Stop being victimised by west
Why should any normal human being be talking about war, while the citizens and Africans supported the change of government. The West are over blowing the issue
Africans should kick out all military powers, bases out of their land permanently!!!
The woman knows nothing. We are all happy this is going on
It will surprise you how people all over west Africa will be happy when coupe happens all over the west African countries
Is NIGERIA better than Niger republic?
