Haha, was watching this beautiful and peaceful game, then the end credits came and it sounded like someone dropped a big stone i the staircase outside... Yes, I am awake now!
Haha people always comment on my nice soothing voice. Some even fall asleep while listening to my videos. Just see it as a way to make sure people don't stay asleep after watching a video. You will now be completely awake lol.
But it is something I will work on soon. Getting some stuff done for new artwork and then the endcredits etc will also be changed!

Great video, love your approach. I've always built carpentry and thatcher up in the industrial center, mainly because of walking distance to materials. I'm with you and we'll see how it goes.
Thank you very much! Yeah usually I build it there too. I think its fun to not always build the most efficient town and sometimes go for more beauty etc. But that is personal of course! Glad you enjoy this!

Small tip - shortest path from yard entrance to house entrance will maximize room for the garden and also saves some time for traveling;)
Thank you for sharing! I know it, but this villages is not about efficiency etc, its all about looks. But for sure, specially on the big gardens placing the house at the entrance is a wise move for efficiency!
Great idea! But then, would they really build right along the river? Keep in mind that rivers used to change their bed back then... So they run quite a risc of getting their houses flooded.
Why not build the houses right next to their tents?
Well it all depends on what you measure it to. 90% of all older towns in the Netherlands started along rivers. Where I live too. Dikes are around for thousands of years already and the first system was applied in the Netherlands around the year 1000. But there are a 10000 questions as to things we could do different. It all depends on what you compare it too etc. So I just have heaps of fun building this town pretending that it is somewhat historic lol.
@@PatmosIV I guess it all depends on the terrain. Here in Switzerland I think that most old settlements were either a bit away from major rivers or on stone banks.
So since Ukraine is in between CH and NL and you build above "uneven terrain" so you might have picked the perfect spot.
@@psvbasel4967 I think you got that right. Most of all of the city development is heavily impacted by the geography of where a town is build. Now that I think of it, it could be really interesting to have a more mountain like map to build on as well, to see how different that would evolve!

Have you figured out how far away from the houses the toxic industries should be? I can't tell when people are sick from that or from other stuff. seems like something that would have to be experimented with maybe?
Haven't figured that out yet. Also not sure how bad the effects are. That is for sure something to test and look into at some point! Thanks for that pointer! Will put it on the list of things to work on!
