You literally had me watching the timer as if it were a suspense movie, I was so anxious if you would make it and yes you did! Congratulations, I'm very happy for you !!! :))
Really wondering what those cars are thinking watching some guy sprinting down the road lol Also incredible attempt! Lots of runners try this and still come nowhere close. From the videos I have seen, you have an awesome ability to play with your speed and keep pushing even at very high thresholds.
Truth is, the cars were honking at him that made him sprint at the end. On a serious note, very good job in digging deep and pushing out that inner demon telling you to slow down. Back to the joke, I actually visualize myself being chased by an angry mountain lion when I need to dig deep and catch a PB at the tail end of some of my runs.
Well done ! Thats still an amazing thing to accomplish. I started watching you at the start of the year. I watched the video where you ran everyday. That really inspired me. I went from not really running to completing a half marathon today! I trained smart for 12 weeks and can't believe what I have accomplished. Thanks for your amazing videos. Next goal the Marathon!
@@nilsostergrens1542 I did yes! I'm 41 I wanted to achieve 2hrs 20 minutes based on my training but did it in 2hrs 15 minutes. I'm really happy. Thank you.
That was fantastic Göran. I don't know how you were able to dig soo deep towards the end, your legs must of been so tired. It was really exciting to watch. A track mile would be a good video to do, that's going to be tough as well.
I am so stoked . I was thrilled throughout your whole run and thankfull, as always, for your commentary. Gives some interessting insights into your thoughts. Furthermore, you really seem to be a genuine and down to earth guy. I wish you all the best: push on! ;D
ROTFL watching the cars behind you, and wondering what they may be thinking hahahaha At some point there were two cars and I thought you were starting to create a traffic jam :D:D:D But beautiful video as usually!
Wow that was super impressive! I could listen to your voice all day, I love how you seem to be incapable of speaking without a smile on your face😂 amazing job on 3:56 man💪
Very cool! Congratulations on putting in such a hard effort and achieving the goal. It would be really interesting to see what you could do on a track.
Hi Goran. Kudos for the Fantastic content. Do you have any "run with me" kind of videos on the channel. Where you just run and talk to the camera like you are speaking with your running buddy for 30 mins or 1 hr. A video like that I feel would help many stay motivated during a run and also fetch you a good amount of view time.
I have only seen three of your videos, this one, the second place 5k race and the 8:52 3000. You have a good attitude and good talent. I also have to say that running in freezing temperatures is not great for running your best times. Neither is putting a cell phone or camera on your head for a 5k race like you did. Extra weight makes a difference. Every pound extra you carry equals one minute slower per 10k. You may have lost that 5k race from carrying that camera on your head because the winner did not win by that much. I don't know what kind of training you are doing and the coaching you are getting but I believe you can do significantly better and that going under 4 minutes is not out of the ballpark for you since based on the 3000 time, you have to be around 4:15 to 4:20 for the mile right now. I think in four weeks with good training you could take the next step down to a 4:10 mile, maybe even better. Keep in mind that there have been thousands of high schoolers in the U.S. who have run a 4:10 mile. Also, see if you can run in competition rather then on your own.
Congratulation!!! Fantástic, do you have any problems with the cars behind of you? The peple dont say "get out of the way" sorry for my english, have a good day, i liked your videos. Saludos desde México!
Yes I would be curious what time you might get on the track, document your training for the attempt. Also I wondered if you might have slowed down by checking your watch?
All out attempt on the track sounds great and really interesting to see how much it differs
Yeah would be interesting to see how much slower I will run then, will probably do a video about it later this spring 😊
Downhill or not, I'm very impressed.
Man this video is just beautiful. I loved everything about it, beautifully filmed.
Thanks Michelle I'm glad to hear you liked it 😊

Thanks Harald! Yep will try to get that done later this spring 😀
Well done 👍🏻

Cool....that pace is unreal, downhill or not.
Thanks 😊
This is awesome, love downhill miles. You almost beat Nick Symmonds, but I his attempt looked a bit steeper, plus he had Vaporflies.
Thanks 😊Ok maybe I should challenge his time in my Alphaflys 😅
Snyggt jobbat!
Tack 😊

Thanks! Well I love to run and also to challenge my self the feeling after you set out to do something tough and get it done is always worth it 😊
Bravissimo 👏👏👏
Thanks 😊
Espectacular 👏👏👏 felicitaciones 👏
Yes I would be curious what time you might get on the track, document your training for the attempt. Also I wondered if you might have slowed down by checking your watch?
Ok yeah will probably try that later this spring 😊. Yeah maybe it slowed me down a bit, but not much I think it helped more with the pacing.

Will done, mate. Please do a flat also😁
Thanks! Will probably give it a go later this spring 😀
This 64-year old non-athlete on the other side of the world (New Zealand) has become inspired by you to continue training.

Awesome! The cars behind you must have been extra motivation to run faster :) How high did your heart rate go?
Thanks! Haha yep 😅 It went up high but not super high ended up in about 90% of max.
