Fuck yeah he is! I saw him a few months back and I was with him for my-day and I'm was complaining that I'm getting older hahaha He's like dude, you're a pussy, I got 10 yrs on you and headbang 3Xs as hard!!! He ain't lying!!! And his voice is so fuckin good now, no he's not threatening someone like Aaron Lewisor Chester R.I.P., but I bet his voice is sooo much stronger and clean, crisp. I know he took a lot of pointers from some great industry vocal coaches but he does that shit on his own justcuz that's how he is. And as far as him being sober for I hink 13 years, I personally feel like he, Corey Taylor, Chester and James Hetfield are the only songwriters I FEEL who never lost a step in heir song writing after getting sober. It's a great lubricant for conveying emotions and dredging up old, repressed bullshit. But Jacoby's songs have developed into his own style. I will always love infest, lovehatetragedy, one of he most underrated albums in rock far as I'm concerned. Lastly, he's is THE NICEST MOTHERFUCKERYOUCOULD EER MEET!!!!!! Yes, nicer than Dave Grohl.....who I heard chews ppl out now when they ask for autographs, he vehemently refuses and I believe only does them for charity auctions and whatnot I have a million insane P Roach stories but it's 6 X-mas morning and I'm hosting a breakfast thing for a buncha friends n family in 3 hours. Oh, I will say one thing, cant just say I have in the same stories then cut it off there LOL Jacoby wasn't there but Dave the original drummer and Tobin were and we were in San Francisco around 2000 or 2001 and the limo driver who was driving back to the hotel went into the hotel to take a leak and we commandeered his limo and ended up crashing it through a big 8-ft wrought iron gate a few blocks away. We all just hopped out and started running away, laughing our asses off. I'm sure their management company heard about it the next day and had to pay some type of deductible for the insurance or something. But when I saw Jacoby a couple months back I asked him if he remembered that and he did not! He's like "was I there when these shananigans were taking place?" Nope, but it was recorded on a shitty old handheld DVR Merry Christmas man. Oh, if you want to subscribe to me or just check back on my channel within a day or two I'm doing a video and cover for their song not coming home. Should be pretty cool, I rewrote some lyrics and it'll be a kinda suicide awareness and to highlight the families and friends left behind after someone takes themselves outta life. Take care, Happy new year too btw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VIVA LA CUCARACHA!!!!
This generation of Papa Roach was awesome but I also like them now. As times change people do too. Their wants, needs, motives etc. You can't blame them for evolving their music. I understand some people like this over their new stuff but just because you don't like it doesn't mean they sold out
They are really tight live, sounds amazing! They put on a great show! I took a good beating in the moshpits though, I was bruised for a week after that concert ;)
Whatever man, you're not gonna make me argue with you. Saw from your profile pick that you like Parkway Drive. Me too, they're awesome, saw them live earlier this year :)
***** On their current tour they play Between Angels and Insects, Broken Home, Infest and Last Resort. In Russia last year, they played the same and also Blood Brothers, Tightrope and Dead Cell :)
I miss this kind of pApA rOAcH
Getting old sucks 😉
I like how you spelled Papa Roach
Everybody does
They are awesome! Jacoby is still full of energy ❤️
