Little info on the song In a Kulturnews interview, Lana said that “Ultraviolence” was about a cult leader she met as a member of underground group in New York. I used to be a member of an underground sect which was reigned by a guru. He surrounded himself with young girls. He thought that he had to break people first to build them up again.

I believe that kinks are linked with trauma, the overwhelmed feelings were never digested, so they were played again and again forcefully, becoming an addiction. It seems like something you want, but actually it’s something you wanna get rid of but you don’t know how, it’s too huge to neglect. Kinks are complicated, there are also other reasons for that, like childhood experiences, morbid curiosity… But here in Ultraviolence, I think Lana is talking about the situation when you are hurt by someone you love, you just lie to yourself to feel better, running away from the cruel truth, though it’s wrong. It’s just hard to stay sober all the time.

Queen Victoria made the white wedding dress popular in the 1800 and I feel like the trend for a white wedding dress just keeps going.

To the majority of my culture, yes, it does. Thus why its personally insulting if someone is lying, but if your outside that then of course you wouldn't have that standard, because "purity" is not something valued according to your own culture and perspective.

Well, I think instead of just wanting to look good it's more about tradition. I mean for most young girls, or at least for me and my siblings, they have always dreamed of their "perfect" wedding and have some idea of what they want their wedding to look like. And throughout the media you don't see often women getting married in a different color like being little and watching Barbie for instance. Whenever Barbie is getting married, she is pretty much always wearing white if she gets married. And I'm just using Barbie caused I loved her when I was little. Which is purely like where you are from like obviously someone from India probably is not gonna want to wear a white dress, they're gonna want to wear their traditional clothes instead. So in conclusion I think it is just mainly tradition and nostalgia from young girls dreaming about getting married.

Now I also grew up in the south in a very baptist household so I really did grow up around women wearing white dresses and that's just what I conjured up in my head for what I want my wedding to look like. Even my mom who had a not so traditional wedding wore a short white sundress to hers.

Okay, makes sense, since western women want a "wedding' but don't want to be a wife or be truly married, too bad that disney fantasy still going strong, as completely unrealistic as it is, since western women cannot be married.
I can see it being part of the feminist indoctrination of "the PERFECT wedding" deserved or not, barbie and disney princesses were always nothing but a fantasy based VERY loosely off of real life, and perverted beyond any natural origins. Makes sense layered with your comments, no wonder western women are the most undesired on the planet, they are literally brainwashed and indoctrinated To BELIEVE in such fairy tales being reality.
Yeah, eastern vs western culture with family and relationships is no contest: The Eastern Dating and Relationship cultures are vastly superior to the west, families stay together, women are actually pure enough to wear white to a wedding, they actually want to be wives and mothers, its a no-contest for western men who we will pick. But I also understand your point about the unrealistic expectations females are raised in the west to have of Men in general. And presently, western women do not deserve even the IRL version of Chivalry, not even human acknowledgement. More's the pity....
Thanks for the informative comments and the engagement. If you have recommendations, please put links in discord, link in description, have a decent day/night.

I am aware, but "white dress" for a wedding is supposed to symbolize purity. She has not been pure since before graduating, like the vast majority of Western Women. But I understand she is just doing it for the video, makes perfect sense if its only performative.

@ Well no .. white dresses pre date the tradition of white WEDDING dresses. White doesn’t objectively mean purity either.. that’s just a man made concept. The white dress origin isn’t even to represent purity or virginity either.. it stands for status and wealth!

@@sprklejumpropedoll In two parts of my Ethnic cultures, Yes, White the color, has always represented "purity" and there is a general amount of the blended American culture that agrees, whether or not your source of comment has that differently, would be irrelevant to us, because we see it differently in general. Didn't think I would be debating such things for just a fun video lmfao

@@BADGER7ACTUAL LOL THATS due to Christian’s trying to claim it as pure and obviously 70% of America is influenced by that but white has always had multiple meanings and just cuz we have tried to give it a different definition, doesn’t mean it’s the true one
