I've actually had that theory for a while now. I mean, the point of GD is to beat demons, right? So it's literally just Doom as a platformer.

Happy New Year! I was able to complete Hypersonic yesterday as my last major achievement of 2020. Hopefully you can finally beat supersonic soon! Good video too.

Aerma, i am sorry but the monster has just 4 sprites into the game.
He can't move his body or do something because, RobTop in 2.1 didn't finished his story.
But he said the history will continue in 2.2!!
I don't think that really means anything. Just because something isn't programmed yet doesn't mean it won't be-and the monster doesn't have to have animations to be the good guy. (Plus, this is just a theory for fun, I'm not trying to convince anyone that my hypothesis is 100% accurate)
I would recommend doing it on the shopkeeper since when you click on him alot there will be a dialogue and after you click him enough times he will turn into i guess a monster i forgot whats it called (btw i haven't seen your part 2 to the end if you have post the end so idk if you already did a theory A GAME THEORY on it plus idk if its in main i found this in gd world)

My theory
Rubrub is the bad guy. Rubrub had used and neglected the vault keepers for demongaurdian to stay alive, as when you free demongaurdian, he says rubrub was cooking chicken, but has not fed any of the vault keepers except for his loyal pet. The shopkeeper and scratch have been used too. Rubrub only shows care towards potbor and gatekeeper. It is unknown why rubrub does this, but my idea is that rubrub doesnt like loyalty, which is.. off, because glubfub and shopkeeper are very humble and kind, amazing and loyal, caring and chill about the state their in. It's as if rubrub was a father of 6 kids, only caring about 2 special kids. I'm pretty sure the demongaurdian is the good guy though. I think this because demongaurdian has no further intention on hurting anyone but only intending on taking over the toxic factory, his old nature.
Thats all I think of right now. Will update this comment when I have more to say.

Um... just one little detail that the fandom gets wrong: The Keymaster's name _isn't_ Glubfub. He/they only used that code to make fun of RubRub (jokingly, of course, as they've proven their innocence in a number of encounters)
Do you have a source for that ? It'd be useful since I'm writing the script for Part 2 x3

I have a theory... I think that the Demon Guardian and RubRub were once good friends. The Demon Guardian even got to guard a gauntlet. But the Demon Guardian wanted power and started raising an army of demons. RubRub was not okay with this, so he devised a plan. He invited the Demon Guardian over to his house. He then took him to the basement and said he was cooking chicken inside of a dark, cave like room. The Demon Guardian wandered into the room, and RubRub locked him in, using an Orange Key, a Blue Key, and Green Key. RubRub took in the demons and had each of them guard something. One demon guarded RubRub's house, and of course, the Demon Guardian. One demon guarded RubRub's vault, and another demon guarded the Chamber of Time. The other demons guarded levels that could be dangerous to citizens of RubRub's world. RubRub then hid the keys, one in a chest at the end of a secret gauntlet, one in a secret chest, and one in the Chamber of Time, guarded by RubRub's most trusted demon.
(Unrelated to the story of the demons) I also think that RubRub built Scratch, Potbor, and the Shopkeeper. They were all meant to stick to shops, but Scratch kept stealing fron RubRub. Of course, RubRub was going to punish Scratch. But, Potbor might have helped Scratch hide and own a secret shop, like a Black Market. Scratch stole RubRub's Master Emblem, which was his only proof to show he was the ruler of the world. This also meant that if someone were to get into Scratch's shop and buy the Master Emblem, they could easily get past many people.
