I bought this when it came out and have used it on every album I've made (3 so far, 1 in the works). I can get lost for hours once I start playing with the knobs. One staple you'll hear in my songs is A12 (turn wheel) with the arp on, but also as a melody instrument.
@@jackthemurray Could you tell, please, what’s the structure of this Evolution patch? Sounds so beautiful that I really wanna try to replicate it! I guess it’s based around Saw and Triangle waves with slight detune and some modulation? If it’s not that difficult for you to share basic settings of this sound, I would be grateful! Thanks for such amazing demo!
Here's a link to a screenshot I took of the patch loaded in Patch Base. Hopefully this helps you recreate the patch! Let me know if I can be of any further help! Definitely a great patch! drive.google.com/file/d/1nPWlBv0UfnZYu2q2Kx3SmECUkAFCTZrs/view?usp=sharing
@@jackthemurray wow! Jack, thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it! 🤝and once again thanks for sharing these detailed settings! Unbelievable!
Man, I'm really amazed at the sound coming out of this thing. Factory presets, or are they your patches? Are these straight from the MS or did you post mix with comp, effects etc. I've stumbled upon one of these that I can get for pretty cheap and my UA-cam research brought me here.. how many voices polyphony? I think I might jump on the offer
Hi, it depends on what electric piano you have. As long as your electric piano has a MIDI OUT port, you can connect that to the MiDI IN on the Korg and control the Korg with the piano’s keyboard. There might be some settings you have to change, but it should work right away in most cases. Hope that helps!
He might be saying that “analog synths” are the best. So meaning to say, they are better than this digital synth in a box. Or he might not know what this thing is.

The saw one at the beginning was definitely the best
Thanks Max! I definitely love the vintage Korg virtual analog sound!

Everything in this video is 100% stock factory MS2000R patches. No post processing or leveling of any kind. They’re still great VA synths!
Does this synth have a noise gate or trance gate effect?

Hi Jack Murray. I have a question. Can I connecct this Korg to my electric piano?

Analog Synths are best
Well this one is a virtual analog (not really analog), but I do dig the sound!
its called analog modeling, still digital but the sounds it can make can be really really good
