For those of you who don’t quite understand, this technique is used on curly hair types to define the curls, not to create artificial ones. This absolutely will not work on straight hair as the hair will not hold in the curl formation and fall.

A way easier way with curls from years ago.. wash hair.. towel pat dry and towel dry to induce volume.. DO this upside down. Then crimp mouse into hair starting at roots with neck bent so hair hangs... Then use hair spray to lock in.. Idk if it works without perm or at least natural waves.. but it is quicker n easier
