ONE might have a depth of talent, specifically in the striking department, that the UFC doesn’t have, but there’s AT LEAST 1 or 2 guys in each and every weight division in the UFC that would smoke everyone in that same weight division in ONE.
They would, to be honest. there was a match between Rodtang (Perhaps the best fighter/striker in One right now, and one of the best Muay Thai fighters ever) and Demetrious Johnson (used to be in the UFC, known as Mighty Mouse, and is also one of the best grappler and jiu jitsu fighter in his weight class). They had a match for One Championship and DJ choked Rodtang out in the 2nd round!

When it comes down to it, most ppl want to see striking. The average fan doesn't care for BJJ. When it comes to striking, one is way better. If it was striking only, one fighters would easily beat a lot of UFC fighters. Of course, with MMA, the UFC fighters would win. One CEO is correct though, one is so much more entertaining to watch compared to UFC.

imo onefc has the more exciting fights, a lot more of their fighters are willing to put it all on the line and the matchups are really good where as in the ufc fightcards tend to be a hit or miss its been decent lately but they always have rough patches where theres not much excitement and end up letting the fans down like the izzy and yoel fight and the sterling vs omalley, omalley saved it with the knockout but before that it was a pretty boring fight and i dont have too many memorable fightcards in the last year

ONE Championship is an excellent fighting promotion and all, but I mean, if Ben Askren could (arguably) dominate ONE Championship with literally zero striking, imagine how Olympic level wrestlers, Black Belt Judoka/Jiujitsu practitioners, or Olympic level sambists, which are all grapplers, would fare, especially if they also practice striking styles like Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Karate, Taekwondo, etc. I would love to see East Asian Olympic Wresters, Judoka, and Shuai Jiaoist (from Japan, China, or South Korea) compete in ONE Championship. Maybe add someone like Yoel Romero to the roster? Edit: There's also my personal MMA GOAT, Demetrious Johnson, dominating his weight division in ONE Championship, losing only to one guy due to the one rule he forgot existed in ONE Championship.
Ufc can't stand against One in muay thai or boxing. The only chance ufc has is on the ground in mma. Generally, across the weight classes, head to head, Ufc would win some, but not the majority. One is too powerful at stand-up.
