4020 and 4440 probably the two best tractors JD ever built. Take them both to the tractor show. Your tractors in their work cloths look better than most show tractors.
Thank you for that trip down memory lane…. I was 10 years old and in 1991 the very first tractor I ever drove was a 1971 4020… man I spent a lot of hours on it tedding hay, raking hay, hauling badger tandem axle forage wagons. Great video.
Hope you bring your 4020 up to Waldron. Be nice to get the boys involved. You have a tractor for both right now. The 4440 is getting old enough. They both have great family history and hopefully next year you will have the old dog done. Then have your dad build a showroom on the front of your barn for the three. TAKE CARE NATHAN !!!
Good on Kondex. I still highly recommend working with a consultant to grow your channel. There is no difference in that than with an agronomist. Your channel has improved a LOT. It is good. There has to be a reason (I am not an expert) as to why that you don’t have the viewers of say LF or the MF. There are experts on this stuff. I really hope you work with one. I think it is safe to say all of us would love to see your channel grow.
I've heard that you may have an in with a rival seed company that is more open to sponsorships?? Maybe at least trial a few P-C-Ds? Did I mention that you have the most comprehensive, timely, informative content? Your family is the frosting on the cake!
Nathan, back in the day before metric measure, we used Imperial measurement to gauge how much rain had fallen. 100 Points = 1 inch. so 1inch plus 6 10th would be 160 points.John from Australia.
Howdy Nathan, I hope ya'll are doing well, No, I don't think your asking to much from companies your clearly promoting on your channel, and the fact that people are saying they saw it on your channel, that would otherwise not know anything about, so no Nathan, your not asking to much, keep up the great work, Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friends Edit: I love your 4020 JD it is in great shape !!
We just have small spots just west of you by Evergreen schools. Nothing too bad tar spot wise. Sprayed with fungicide 3ish weeks ago when we first saw it.
In reference to the iron content of the water from the irrigation well. I am a 28 year, high school science teacher. Highly charged (+2 or +3) metal ions are acidic when dissolved in water (aqueous). The rust on the well casing indicates you have highly charged iron ions in the water. If you have a soil analysis completed on the irritated field, it would be interesting to compare the pH to past data from the field after you grew corn. If the iron has the effect theory states, your soil pH may be lower than in previous years.
I doubt we've added enough water to significantly alter the soil pH. The Anhydrous Ammonia would have a bigger/quicker effect. Also, this field received 2 tons of chicken litter last fall that is high in calcium and gets lime applied as necessary.
@@BorderViewFarms You are absolutely right that everything you listed would drive the pH up, and do so in a way that would neutralize the acidic nature of the iron ions by factors of multiple tens. The thesis isn’t will it make the soil acidic, it is will the pH be lower when compared to past data? Any analysis you do will be interesting to see if the new water source causes nutrient availability to be any different. Just spitballing an idea, but doing side by side comparisons of the soil in the middle of the rows that have water applied to them versus the rows that do not could prove interesting. The RAIN system offers a unique situation with a very regimented application of a new variable (well water) to 60%-70% of the soil structure, with the remaining soil seeing little to no irrigation water. I am assuming the RAIN follows the same path each time and does not offset by a row with multiple passes,
I might have missed it but can you put your yield results from your 2023 food plot. I'm interested in the 5 hybrids on the early maturity of your plot. Or the whole plot actually. The 99-104 day corn.
Nathan, you're right, Golden Harvest needs to take notice of your channel. Maybe they believe they don't need more business or maybe they figure they're getting benefit from you for nothing.
Congratulations on 1 year!!! 👍👍👍👍
Wow that's a good thing 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
The 4020 is still looking Good. You did a good restoration and it shows.
The wooden item is a business card stand.
Can you imagine Rylan with his favorite tractor in the parade?

I love watching the 4020 work, that’s what I grew up on and a 4010.
I always get a laugh out of the side eye you give the camera when mentioning the seed company that you don't mention. Hilarious. Thank you.
I love my 4020’s bought first in 1968 still running.
The 4020 still getting it done ✅ looks good also 💚💛
It is super that you support companies that you work with and then they recognize your reach on social media! Great Job!
Nathan, it is great to see your daughter and how she has grown.
I enjoyed today’s video. Good work today. 😎🇺🇸

You and the Fam need to be in the next Tractor Show to show them how it benefited you all those years ago! Lol!
OMG … Nathan get a cap for the 4020 steering wheel !! 😁
I had one, it fell out
@@BorderViewFarms well you sure can’t put on a show with that missing … 😁

That AgroPro wheat looks like the real deal you have has some great yields over the last few years
Good morning
Thanks for the video

Great video good to see ya
Need to get yourself a plow and participate in some plow days with it
That is a great idea . Maybe get Brock to do the video and such.Could be a great video
Thanks for the video buddy
You should try to put the jumper directly on the starter
Possibly the jumper cable didn't connect correctly to the battery. I had this recently myself.

You can find them here xcelseeds.com/plot-results
@@BorderViewFarmsThanks 👍🏻
You can take your wife to potato days in Barnesville, MN - I'm sure she'd have a great time. My wife isn't going with me anymore.
What happened to the tank you bought and converted from ammonia fertilizer. Thought you were going to use it for propane.
What you don't eat Factor dinners for lunch
i was wondering where that was
She thought your tractor was sexy

Maybe you need to cover up a certain seed company's logo in your videos... 😂😂😂
Tank confusion. What happened to portable one you did awhile back?
I have it. It works but it's not a service tank, just for transferring.
How did that lady bug survive the pesticides?? 😏
Didn't spray any insecticide on the corn
Are you going to the Nascar Cup race at the motorspeedway in Michigan this Sunday, or are you not a fan of Nascar .
I'm not a good enough fan to want to go to the race
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Every company not understanding the value you represent for them is stupid.
Will you get a Rain for Berkie farm??
Probably not
It is spelled BERKEY NOT BERKIE
I don’t ever remember saying it was the most boring thing I’ve ever done….
The whole generator and "Watering Can" is unreliable!!!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
