The rugs in my house are actually from Kashgar so I do genuinely appreciate their sense of style, although some of the clashing patterns are a bit over the top even for me 😂🏡
The house's interior decor is quite vibrant and eclectic, with a mix of patterns and colors that can be visually stimulating. The rugs from Kashgar add a unique and authentic touch, reflecting a deep appreciation for traditional craftsmanship. However, the combination of clashing patterns might feel overwhelming for some, though it could be seen as a bold and expressive choice for others. It's a matter of personal taste, and while the style might be too intense for some. It is very suitable for the environment of your current house. It is located in the countryside, which adds a lot of color to the countryside. I especially like your interior design. It is very suitable for the environment of your current house. I love it! why is there not 1 single Uyghur woman with hijab in xj? why is nobody looking reliigous? when in the records from before 2015 you could see hundreds of people in mosque, women wearing hijab? oh, did something happen after 2016 towards uyghurs?🤔
@@哈哦故事 oh, you mean the mosques that turned into night/dance clubs/cafes you dumba$$? for Muslims, this is like the biggest disrespect. and you think Uyghurs are okay with this? and no, the population is getting reduced(women and men are getting sterilized in the camps)and the Uyghur Muslims are losing their identity to get sinified in the most brutal ways. Katherine, your footage is a celebration of authencity of life in Xinjiang. There is much to be thankful for as we can see from your lenses Xinjiang's Uighurs living in decent housing, doing decent work, living peaceful and contented lives in a green and peaceful environment. Cheers and keep up the good work! :)
Katherine, I can't put my finger on it but there is a definite charm to Aysajan's home. It has an almost mediterranean feel to it. To me, the simplicity and openness of the house seem to reflect the culture of the people in this region. As for the colours and decorations, well, it is bright and a contrast to the desert landscape! GREAT Vlog!❤❤

Wow, your Chinese is good, I’m impressed! I lived and worked in China for 13 years - Shenzhen mostly - and loved it. My biggest regret is not working harder to learn to speak the language. Like watching your videos to see a foreigner speak the language so well and to see places that are non-tourist areas.

❤This house is quite modern with characteristically Uyghur decor and modern wallpaper. The yards are lovely. Look forward to seeing more vineyards in Kashgar. In traditional Uyghur homes you sit on colorful carpeted platforms that we would associate with beds so that living rooms would appear to be bedrooms. The doors and windows almost remind me of the Soviet Union (rather than traditional Uyghur).

Nice house! It reminds me of the house of the parents of my former Romanian boyfriend. Guests could be put up everywhere; couches were converted into beds. There was an orchard and also lots of vines that provided shade. Almost similar colorful decor too.
I was only half-way through the video and I already fell in love the house. This is the most colorful farmhouse I have ever seen. Are there any such farmhouses in Xinjing being used as Bed and Breakfast?
❤Hia culture is very different from us . I would be scared to have a stranger knocking my door to let him / her in . Even a friend come to visit I would like to know in advance. Respect privacy . I remember those "underwhelming" snacks from when I was little (we used to get those from the Muslim quarters together with 馕,烧卖,羊杂汤...), they were wonderfully tasty when the next best thing we had to eat back then was 馒头 😅. Personally I appreciate how they can make the flavourful dishes such as pilafs or kabobs stand out more. Anyways I'm glad Uyghur people still hold their traditional taste so close and dear to their hearts 🙂
