My dad used to drive a front end loader at the clay company he worked at when I was a kid and I used to ride with him on it and drove it sometimes. That's a beast
I got to drive one of these on green mountain in Wyoming. I had to smash a big pulley tower down a mineshaft and the buildings around it. I had to unbolt the pulley at the top and save it but the rest I had to smash down into the mineshaft. Then I got to dig a giant chunk of ice away from a vertical mine entrance. Giant like 30 feet thick and 50 feet tall and 100 feet long. It had chains I had to put on each tire because the snow was about 8-10 feet deep going up the side of a mountain. That thing was a beast. It could lift anything.
Et dire que ça se manie, se conduit ou se pilote, si vous aimez mieux le terme, plus facilement qu'une 2cv ou une Topolino! Une merveille de la technologie actuelle!
You know you have a large machine when the diameter of the tires is more than twice the height of a person. One tire for that thing probably costs more than a car! Imagine what the wheel loader itself costs (I would guess a few million dollars).
Tell me about the engine bro, And why joy stick instead of steering wheel ?? Honestly, It would interest me if It was steering operated, no joy stick for me, Sorry am a old school guys, watching from Jamaica west Indies !!.
I often wonder if these big machines like this have a bathroom. I mean, you can not just stop and go on some of the big jobs these machines work in; it may be miles to the starting point. Does anyone know?

@justingray3456 you might be right, doesn't make it right, I operated everting from a 944 to D 11, one outfit bought a brand new 355A komatsu, used it for about a year, really didn't care for it, didn't have it two weeks and they came and they Came andlut a new engine in it,, damn thing was tuff on brakes. Cat got smart and came out with a change over to be able to put Cat undercarriage on it, they were about half the price of the komotsu. At that time we had an old ponyy motor D 9 it would out push that 355 , getting back to the tariff the more I think of it , I think that will open the door for other manufacturer s to sell more of their stuff. If the de Cats come out of Mexico are like the Silverados coming out of Mexico Cats going to loose a lot of customers. Quillity control is terrible. I'll never buy another cat.
As a CNC machinist, I'm trying to picture some of the machining centers that these components would have been machined in. They're huge!

Un monstre des carrières. Bravo CAT. Toujour à la pointe du progrès et de la technologie.
The 950 I operated as a teenager in the late 80’s would fit in its bucket

Absolutely amazing! Can you suggest a few similar videos for me?

Hello you are very versatile good
I've worked at two different open pit mines. I've operated big loaders like this and big dozers and excavators. At both mining companies. 🤔💪👍

I'm more impressed the floor didn't collapse.

What a monster wow
Concerned about tariff tax cat products, great machines but should made in America
"Glad you enjoyed it! If you’re into this, check out videos on extreme machinery, forestry tools, or demolition equipment. Any specific interests?"
Would be great in peak hour traffic. 🎉
wouldn't argue with you
But it would be a lot slower than your usual vehicle - and would get lousy gas mileage.
Good job. Bravo colleagues 🎉
What is the horsepower of the engine?

Any idea what the big red key outside the cab is for?
Not 100% sure but might be fire extinguisher
To wind it up.😁
@@woodhonky3890 Ah, their new eco friendly tech! :D
Emergency shut off maybe. Cuts fuel to the engine, or a fire extinguishing system.
it's like visiting a house....

They actually have not made steering wheel for decades. 992C i ran had a steering wheel. Early 90's model.. after that all stick steer

Well CAT if you moved south it could cost you dearly oh sorry John d 😅😅😅
Body big ..but bucket so small ...huhuhu
Shame on you , moving to Mexico , your going to get a terrible tariff put on you!!!!
A tariff the consumer will pay, not Cat.
