this was NOT a Paradise Garage classic. It came out in 1973, way before PGs opening in 1977. This was played by Nicky Siano at the original Gallery on W.22 St in Chelsea, NYC!!!
thanks for posting this..i hope others hit this so they can hear some of what we we into in the "underground" gay clubs back in the day..mixed this with the other side of the 45..
thank you thank you thank you I've got the original 45 not in bad condition but I always wanted the full version thanks to you I now have it. dj rob williams
Hi. Thanks for the upload. I looked for the 7" release of Tribe - Koke and found it's only 2 minutes and something long. There is a part one and two. Not a full 5:20 minutes. Is this version parts one and two mixed? Where can I find the full version? I found part one is on the full length album but I don't think it is 5:20 minutes long. Thank you.
I wonder if there was an actual extended mix made or if you can combine the Part 1 and Part 2 to make the full length. If I had a single I would try it, it seems in the middle of the song it slightly fades out and starts again.
The Lockers rocked this on Soul train. Made me wanna get up and start lockin'...lol!
The Lockers brought me here! The legends of soul train!

Especially when preceeded by Genie Brown Can't Stop Talking. .
@@roberthooven8665 I usually played Genie Brown first, then mixed Koke into it.
