はじめてのMV制作です。
Miliさんの楽曲RTRTが大好きで制作しました！

Miliさんの曲はどれも魅力的ですよ！
動画編集やアニメーションなど、初めての事ばかりで色々悩んだり苦戦しました。
動画編集に関しては触れてから1ヶ月満たしておらず、編集してた動画が何度も消えたりと戦のようでした。
それでも完成出来たのは作ってる時が一番楽しかったからです！
追記です。
冒頭のスタッフロールのムービーのつづりは正しくはmovieです。すみません…

この曲ほんとに毎回泣いてしまう。原曲だと女の子は本当に狂ってしまう、マッドサイエンティストになってしまうイメージだったけど、この子は弔うためにやっているように見える
It's such a bittersweet feeling, seeing the Chinese cook desperately try to reconnect with a dead body, almost acting as if he was still alive and well. It's so sad, I never thought 3-minute music video would make me so attached to these two.
Well...if i remember this kind of youkai/demon correctly, it's already an reanimated corpse whose life is bound to the talisman on his head, im too lazy to read about it again but i think the inscription on the talisman gives away the purpose/character of the reanimated corpse...the corpse should also have self healing abilities as long as the talisman is not destroyed...if destroyed the animation of the corpse is lifted...

動きがすごくあって、クオリティが高いなと感じました……最初の、「I'm a
mad scientist proclamed by
myself」の所で女の人がすごくドヤ顔をしていて、それが最後にはあんなに泣きながら同じ台詞を言っていることにめちゃくちゃ泣いてしまいました…頭が撃ち抜かれた後の一瞬の音楽の空白に、女の人の表情が歪むシーンを入れた所が素敵だなと感じました…原曲を知っているので、最初の所の笑っている2人から泣けてきてしまいました…
retortは返答と言う意味、自分に対する返答をしてくれる唯一の存在に女の人は初め喜んでいたが、retortからeoを抜いた、中国語でeoは飢餓という意味で、ご飯を食べなくなり、キョンシーが飢餓を感じなくなり、retortは返さなくなった、それでもあなたは私の唯一の人なのよ、という意味が込められているのかも…という考察を読んだことがあって、更に泣けてしまいました…
言いたかったことを言葉にしてくださってありがとうございます😭
正直深い考察をしすぎると最早作詞家の考えた範疇を遥かに凌駕してそうな人が多くて面白い。受け手がいくらでもストーリーを解釈できるから面白いよね
I like how there's no way to interpret the boy as surviving, that what she made was just a doll. They specifically said he was shot in the head and that his brain would have been destroyed, so there's absolutely no coming back for him. It really gives the song and animation gravitas.
I mean...there actually is.
At the end (of the animation) you can see the face of the doll/zombie.
His mouth is first closed, but in the next it's slightly open and something red drips out.
This means, it could be open to interpretation if he survived. He's a supernatural, vampiristic zombie after all.
And a kind that gets sometimes created by an "unstatisfying death", so even if the other zombie (creature) destroyed his head, it could just be that he recovered.
Slowly. Very, very slowly, but especially the fact that the cook sewed all the pieces into place (minus plastic eyes, nylon hair etc.) could mean he gets resurrected.
Would make a better ending as well.
i did some research on the chinese mythology that the song has incorporated! jiangshis, chinese vampires, theyre controlled by 7 pos (po = the evilness in a human; hun = the goodness in humans) the jiangshis became jiangshis because of causes like not being buried properly, improper death, suicide, or wanting to cause trouble. then the bodys hun leaves the body and since now only the po resides inside the body does it become a jiangshi. also jiangshis arent traditionally protrayed like the song does, theyre more like blood thirsty monsters. jiangshis are raised by chinese necromancers which could mean the mc/lady in the song is a necromancer. bagua signs, carried by the person who “killed” the jiangshi, were made from the two original guas, heaven and earth, (they mated and gave birth to the six others) are 8 trigrams/symbols used by feng shui practitioners/traditional chinese medicine, and theyre related to the five elements of wu xing (water, fire, wood, earth, and metal; some elements relate to more than one trigram). they use bagua signs to ig connect to the elements? we can use this to infer that the killer was a modern feng shui practitioner hence the guns. idk if the jiangshi could still be revived after it had been eradicated and became a corpse but it could still be a possibility since the whole necromancy thing.

凄いクオリティ… 原曲ではただ襲撃して来た男にやられっぱなしだったけどこっちはちゃんと抵抗した途中で撃たれてる… そのせいかもっと切なく感じますね。それにしてもアニメ化でもしたような高クオリティでビックリしちゃいました笑 これが初pvとかありえないｗうますぎてｗｗｗ

It’s not just the cliched death with just a funeral. She literally tried to put him back together and relive the time before. Using the plastic eyes and the nylon just makes it worse. You know that those things are just not the same. You know that stitching him back together is just not the same. She did everything she can to put him back together. Even having his body whole is enough for her to go through the hassle. Reliving it is really the biggest torture. She knows that she can play imagine and just imagine that he is still alive, but in reality, he is gone forever. She would rather live through imagination so she can love him than to confront the reality. That is how is how much she loves him. If she were to choose between saving his dead body or a stranger, she would probably save his dead body.
Sounds fair.
But why did the guy killed him?
I'm sorta surprised that she isn't hunting him down and torturing him to death.

i don't think the man in black and white was a zombie(or what ever that kid was) in the song
Chiimasu also made one for this and a few other mili songs
There has been a couple of animations but this one was higher quality animated vs the others (i appreciate the others animators)
@@ManoMamyte The kid is a Jiang-shi, which are a type of Chinese zombie-vampire that has stiff limbs and drinks blood. You can tell it's one by the lyrics "spikey spikey, bloody fangs, hungry for my chi" and "crack, crack, you stretch your arms" implying he has trouble moving his limbs, which Jiang-shi have. The character himself is modelled after the one in the cover art for RTRT on the video Mili (the people who made the song) posted on UA-cam. In said cover art, there's also the shadow of a person, assumed to be the one with the gun, and you can vaguely see pointed ears, like that of the Jiang-shi the main character befriends, implying that he too is one.

For everyone that wants a happy ending:
In the animation, the doll first has her mouth closed, but in a following shot the mouth is slightly open and red liquid drips out.
Regarding that the character was a "Chinese hopping zombie" (with vampiristic traits), which means a creature that gets created in a number of ways including an unsatisfying death, it could indicate that he was maybe killed but resurrected himself due to his will to live.
Sounds weird maybe, but we're talking about a creature that hopps to get from place to place. Furthermore the ending picture (the cook going over the market with zombie & black/white man) -even though completely fanmade - could also be a form of future vision (in this interpretation) where the Jiang-shi is alive/undead again and has made up with his killer, both now living together with the cook and helping her cook.
But what about stitches? Ending picture don't shows them. Is it because of this "vampiristic traits"?
Considering he's a supernatural, it's not outside the realm of possibility. I mean, in this interpretation, he did survive a very brutal beheading. What's healing a few stitches and growing new eyes, lol
Is there more to this story than just what we saw in this video or what we’ve interpreted? Bc I’m really curious about it and want to see more.🥺

2人ともめっちゃ可愛いです！途中の「私たちは家族になった」の所は本当にこのまま続いてほしい…と、映像化されることでより深く思いました（本家を知っているが故）。その後はああなってしまうのですが、そのシーンや彼女の表情・心情を凄く上手く表現されていて、心が締め付けられながらもとても感心しました。こんな素敵な作品を見させていただいて本当にありがとうございました！

Is there a story behind the Jiangshi-slayer who himself is a Jiangshi?

Well... I think it's because the smol jiangshi made friends with a human and he only eat curry or something else instead of drinking blood (I think) and when the other jiangshi saw the smol jiangshi the other jiangshi killed the smol jiangshi because the other jiangshi thought that the smol jiangshi betrayed his kind over humans
And i know it's confusing but just bear with it :b

Hmmm well in my country Singapore, there is this rather interesting work of fiction called Half-Ghost. The protagonist is a boy who is a "Medium", has the ability to enter the underworld and also can turn into a jiangshi(the creature illustrated in the video) due to his Medium abilities. He also kills the villain in the story, a pontianak. Pontianak are generally depicted as bloodthirsty vengeful souls of dead women who died in childbirth. So basically the other jiangshi in the video might be a medium out to exorcise the jiangshi boy who was friends with the lady.

I am in love with this animation! Seriously, I replayed it so many times just to take in every frame of detail you put into this! It's amazing! When I saw this for the first time, I was so moved by it I even cried because this is one of my favorite songs and you animated the characters beautifully! Especially QT! I love him and you drew him so cute! Thank you so much for this masterpiece. It deserves more views, I shared it with my friends. I hope this gets the recognition it deserves some day!

言葉で表しきれないほどに素敵でした…
女の子のほんとに愛おしそうな顔をしてキョンシーの子を見ているのが頭に残って、ラストで思わず泣いてしまいました…！イラストを描くと言うだけでもとんでもない労力と時間が必要なのにこんな素晴らしい動画を作ってくださって本当にありがとうございました！

冒頭から思わず泣いてしまいました、後半も独自の解釈に驚かされました。
恐らく原曲では多くの方がRTRTを退治したのは僧侶だろうと解釈している中、こちらでは同族による襲撃…？なのでしょうか、それとも何かの組織かな？バトルシーンも個人が作ったとは思えない程に素敵です。
最後の何やら物語が詰まってそうな一枚絵も気になりますね。素晴らしいです。

My heart shattered but had little hope towards the end. I knew this song was too happy to have something bad happen. Animation is so beautiful and amazing! I thought when he wanted a hug, he was gonna bite her.
Thank you for the likes (Even if it isn’t much). I feel this would be a really good tv show where we can learn more about their relationship, but because of what happened to thy innocent and small Jiangshi! Maybe he can remain alive, but it’s the love that he formed with the scientist that helps him.
This animation is so well done it makes the song 100 times sadder. I love his smile but I know it doesn't last long, dang it!

女性の表情が豊かで、見ていてとても惹かれました。特に後半で、スプーンを差し出しても反応を返してくれない少年に溢れそうになる気持ちを噛み殺すような表情が、女性の苦しみと芯の強さを表していて、素晴らしかったです。

Fantastic working. But I wonder why the man who killed the zombie is a zombie as well....Since he holds a Bagua八卦, I suppose his identity is a Chinese Daoshi 道士 but not zombie definitely.

女の子の活発さとキョンシーのやんちゃな感じがめっっちゃ好きです。
キョンシーが動かなくなってしまった後、思わず涙が出てもすぐに前を向いてキョンシーを蘇らせようと行動した女の子の強かさに惚れたしその様子が少し痛々しくて泣いた。
歌詞に忠実に書かれてるし、明るかったり暗かったりする時の表情の表現力が凄まじい。すごい滑らかに動いてるから、かなりの枚数書いてるだろうに変わらず高い画力に思わず脱帽。

1：14あたりの『get it done』の歌い方がめちゃくちゃすきなんだけど、ちゃんとそこにめっちゃかわいい１カット入っててテンションあがった！

He might be alive though considering that he's a vampire and the moment you destroy their heads they stop becoming amongst the living.but if he is alive he's probably in a very slow process of healing in a vegetative state considering that his mouth moved towards a smile it's safe to assume he slowly starting to come back opiate it might take God knows how long given that. He is naturally a vampire and given the fact that he's been given a diet of Curry instead of blood he's going to take much longer to heal if he's even healing at all. Most likelyhe's just going to probably be stuck either in a vegetative state or just be a doll corpse with no higher brain function but I guess you can say the endings up to you whether or not you want to believe. He's alive and healing slowly coming out of a vegetative or permanently dead

クオリティの高さに驚きを隠せない
特に0:28から0:45までのバトル系アニメのような動きが見ててゾクゾクする
絵がとても素敵で、RTRTの世界観もとても伝わってきました…！
目を惹かれる構図も、すごく美味しそうな料理たちも本当に全てが最高です！！
最後になるにつれてめちゃくちゃ泣いてしまいました…

以前、Twitterで出来上がるまで通知ONにして拝見していましたが、色んな事情でTwitter辞めちゃって、もう観れないと諦めかけていましたが、UA-camで立派なアニメになって再会できて感無量です…!!

When I first listened to the song I literally cried and now seeing this video with the animation, I WAS BALLING MY EYES OUT- and when his head was blown up- and the part where she said,” shh- I’ll stick you back up, don’t need to show me how! since I’m the mad scientist proclaimed by myself-“ I had literal chills since at the beginning of the song she proclaimed herself as a mad scientist but it was referring to her cooking and research to find out what the Chinese hopping zombie liked to eat- but now that he’s gone, she literally became somewhat a scientist by stitching back his pieces tgt and giving him plastic eyes- I liked to see this in my point of view like a twisted and sad protagonist or antagonist type of story for the girl-
But still that is just my view on this song and it’s animation! I LOVE THE ANIMATION SO MUCH!! It adds much greater depth and visuals to the song! I love both!!
