I'm from West Bengal and I can say that getting Jadavpur University(JU) is very difficult. Till date everyone I have seen or heard who got JU also got a very good rank in JEE Advance, so your preparation has to be of that level. The paper level of WBJEE is not at all easy, paper difficulty of some subjects is harder than Mains. For getting JU you have to get under 1000 rank (above 120 marks) in WBJEE, and for CSE in JU your rank should be under 100 (140+marks). For CSE in JU safe rank is under 60.

True but most of these colleges coming under state govt reserve their 85-90% seats for their own state domicile for example in Jadavpur Uni 90% seats are reserved for students of WB and only 10% for other states.

why everyone consider 90 percentile as low percentile ????????what about those students who got 70-80 percentile they also have a right to go decent college of india. everyone is teeling colleges for students who have got 90 percentile unhe to koi aacha college mil hi jayega pls tell colleges for those students wo have secured 80 70 percentile(ye students bhi mehnat krte hai they also can't afford to go to private colleges with high fees , they also can't afford to take a drop, ye baache bhi gareeb hote hai ) it is a humble request pls also think about those students who got 70 80 percentile(ye baache bhi tense hai paresaan hai jese 90 percentile wale ) nobody is thinking about students like us. 90 percdntile wale ko kuch aacha mil hi jayega dikkat only 70 80 percentile ale ko hai naaki 90 percemtile wale ko.
