- I return to the river after finding almost an ounce of gold on my last adventure. When we return I discover that the river has had an extreme flash flooding from a summer storm, which has unlocked an incredible amount of new bedrock and ultimately leads to a new supply of gold nuggets.

i went carnivore nearly 21 months now. I'm a 74 years old woman, who is now realizing CARB ADDICTION cost me 13 teeth over a life time ‼️ You nearly always bring BEEF and that's wonderful. I'm disabled and no longer able to prospect here in Arizona. I love your videos and have many fond memories of taking my kids along. I appreciate you sharing your adventures and all the extra time and effort it takes to share with us. I often feel I'm right there with you, and it fills a lonely void.

watching you and your son brought back so many memories of when my kids were young I dragged them along with me exploring the wilds of Vancouver Is. today my daughter in her early 50's has built a home on the property where I've lived for 40 years and all those early experiences are reflected as she and her friends and myself carry on discovering the wonders of the world.....thanks again Levi

As a kid, we would go camping for 2 straight weeks every summer. Was my father's favorite thing to do, camp. Now I'm 55.... it's the best memories I have. Enjoy it Saxon.

Hello Levi how are you? I got up at 2:30 this morning not sure what time that would be in your neck of the woods? I'm on the west coast United States, Oregon to be specific. I was checking out my UA-cam and bang Tassie boys! I too had struck Gold!!! I've commented on your videos before and as I've said before I think it's fantastic when you take your children with you no matter what you're doing. It's just wholesome and like other commenters have mentioned, it's a bond and a memory that your son will carry to his grave. Your patience and concern for his welfare is well noted, as it should be. I just think it's a really good time sitting back watching you and your son and your family get together and just be a family and I thank you for allowing myself, and the rest of the world to be involved in that. Not sure what the temperature is in your neck of the woods over here we're facing a lot of snow. It's been cold all week but no water so we're talking 20s and 30s. Now we have some form of polar vortex coming down from Alaska that's meeting Southwest rains and we're going to get snow. I don't like to drive in the snow. It's not so much me, as it is the black ice that's under the snow and all the other traffic around you. It's the unknown. Either way enough rambling I just simply wanted to say thank you very much for your video I hope you always always continue them. Your content is some of the best content on UA-cam. It's content that a family can watch without worrying about cuss words and adult content and it's exceptionally well done. You pat yourself on the back, stand up straight and know that the content that you put out for us to see is top notch and we all look out for your next video. This was a really awesome video, and teaching your son Saxton Sniping for gold in those crevices, was exciting. What a good job he did. The best part is sitting around the campfire, bonding and sharing the day, food, and forever memories. Loved this video.

Hello from southern Oregon, USA. I thought I should leave a comment and like … note key word “should” … I owe it to you after watching your videos for over 2 years. Awesome to see your son getting into the action too. These adventures together will last a lifetime in the heart of your son. I hope to see more of them. My dad took me snorkeling and scuba diving on the island of Guam for 3 years. Ended up with artifacts from wrecks and a shell collection that’s out of this world. We did this together and now that my dad has passed away the memories and bond we shared doing this together will never fade away.
I might add this note and mention, there are numerous people who watch and enjoy your efforts you have done to share these videos. Don’t be discouraged keep on keeping on my friend. We all enjoy your channel.
Opps … I almost forgot to mention. I also am a prospector and avid gem hunter. There’s great things in the Pacific Northwest. One day I might share a story about the 33,000 dollar amethyst geode I dug up.

His comment that the camp was better than it looked on videos was absolute gold but, best of all the break because he was hungry. That is the true sign of a young lad growing up, stomach first, the gold will wait for us😊. A trip you'll both remember and look back on for years to come. The yellow stuff was just the icing on the cake this time.

Hey Levi, great to see you back at it! Big rain events can cause drastic changes in the topography. If I may suggest keeping a photographic library on your phone of the river on each trip for tracking the changes in the river, could be a time saver. Cheers mate!
Great day with your boy. U will both remember that trip forever. I am 81 and my son and I reminenis often about our hunting and fishing. Experiences that we had 50 years ago. Priceless times. Keep up the excellent editing of your adventures.

Patience and focus, Saxon is learning early. It helps when there’s a gold reward at the end. I remember taking my son screening gravels for sapphires in the North Carolina mountains. He wouldn’t be finding any and I would palm one I had found and drop in his screen as I scratched through his . I would point it out and that discovery would keep him interested. LOL. Always enjoy watching your videos.

Wonderful to see your son joining you Levi and he did really well. Very rewarding as a parent. My 15 year old granddaughter Jessenya joined me for 5 days in January on my dredging claim in Otago NZ. She got stuck in to moving rocks and having a go on the 4inch dredge nozzle. But I think she mostly enjoyed using the pressure hose, especially hosing granddad when I wasn't looking. She soon developed the knack of spotting little nuggets in the dredge box and picking them out with her smaller nimble fingers. Priceless memories that we make for our children and grandchildren. Beautiful excursion w/ son!!! The depth of the experience - from snakes to camp selection to geographic location and respect is absolutely heart warming. These are whole life lessons few people appreciate let alone experience. You've shared an invaluable component of " legacy" that your son will cherish and share and NEVER forget. I tell those people I know of your adventures ( Robs as well). Learning lessons like these are the true components of operational survival and whole life experience. I'm a miner in B.C. Canada .....and start placer mining exact 1980 with ( first small ) machinery....
But always my heart hanging on prospecting ....just with a good steel pan and my old "True temper shovel " and a little bucket .......
Learn from Old timer panning techniques and tricks and improve my skills wherever spare time was
to prospect our river......
That is for me a absolut high light ,- when the sons share this "fever" ,- and just get excited when I or someone from the family have a good pan ......
This what you do , is a different level ......I could sit there and watch you guys doing that ...and never
be bored ......
It is like a "surprise bag" around the next corner 😂
