On the Tobacco Road Rivalry game Wake Forest has won back to back home games against UNC for the first time since 2002 & 2003 season! Steve Forbes is the first coach to secure back to back victories since when Skip Prosser out coached Matt Doherty!

Roy Williams has never lost games back to back against Wake Forest! Roy Williams is 17-9 vs Wake Forest in his coaching career! But at least that Wake Forest has great competition vs the team that Roy Williams has coached from Kansas & UNC!

With Prosser, we went to the tournament. We were in March Madness. We had Vytus Danilius back then. Now we have Cameron Hildreth. I’m not saying he is Dan Aluse but he can do some things that Vytus did. I’m not saying that Tyree Appleby is “Phoenix Suns” CP3 himself but he certainly is a dual threat. We also have that North Carolina does not have “chemistry.” That’s what Steve Forbes has built us on chemistry we have it Armando Bacot can’t hit the side of a barn door. I’m not just saying that.

The difference between Steve Forbes, and Hubert Davis is that Hubert Davis “babies” his players. When you are playing under Steve Forbes, you are in the military. He pushes his players like a drill sergeant pushes his army men to fight in the military. He means business when you step on his court in Winston-Salem. Once you commit to play basketball for him, he will have your you know what. You must obey him. He treats his players to become successful young men. He is very motivational. He wants them to work hard. When you play for Coach Forbes, he does not put up with crap. You are at “Boot Camp” under his watch. Coach Forbes doesn’t play. He is a drill sergeant. Coach Forbes is tough. Unlike Hubert, he doesn’t put up with stuff. If you play for Coach Forbes it’s like you have to obey the law. If you don’t do it his way, he acts like a police officer. Not only will he sit you on the bench, but if you don’t play hard for him, he will make you run hard he will make you play hard for him. It’s no joke. He does not “babysit” so to speak his players unlike coach Davis. I like Steve Forbes he’s a winner. He came from Iowa. The Wake coach is no push-over. He’s a big-time coach. He means business! He’s tough. I like how his players listen to him also. That’s why Wake Forest wins. Unlike North Carolina they don’t lack confidence. Wake Forest has confidence.
Don't even need to look as far as Forbes for an example. Just think back to Roy's coaching and how many instances there were during this and last season, when Roy would have benched the whole starting 5.

Good win by Wake. The Tarheels played better without Bacot in the lineup. He looked very unmotivated in this game. With hungry bench players in for a lot of the second half the offense was a lot better as was the defense. A 60 half is evidence of that.
I have watched all the post and pre press with Hubert Davis. This guy has major issues. He cannot or will not even acknowledge his or his teams failures. Ultimately, it all falls on the coach and this guy is responsible. I didn't like Roy, but one thing he did is he took responsibility as their coach. How many times did he say he failed to coach his team? Hubert would make them a great Chaplin, but coach? Nope. He has slowed down this team to a halt and got them all in their heads. He lives in his mind and who knows what's going on in there. As a UNC basketball fan for over 50 years this coach is Matt Doherty 2.0.
Love has to score 20 before UNC will be competitive again. Monsanto from WF reminds me of an old Pistol Pete Maravich. Could hit from anywhere with the slightest opening.

The Heels aren't having fun playing basketball. Bacot can't point fingers because teams have the blue prints on him. When he plays anyone of size or bigger he just flops. Seems he purposely fouls out so it is an excuse. Hubert Davis at some point has to admit this all on him. The things you do in November matter. He has ruin these kids by telling them they going to play instead he doesn't. He should have been playing these kids early and often. Teams have figured out RJ Davis is a liability on defense an with his shooting of late the offense is running close. The whole coaching staff needs to be fired for failing these kids. Hubert Davis is a good guy but UNC don't need a preacher they need a coach. Some of these guys need hard core old school coaching. Leaky Black hasn't been nowhere as good as the past. This team is in serious trouble for sure.
We got the wrong coach, he's a good recruiter but he's not a motivator or a x and o guy he's in over his head and the assistants don't bring nothing to the table, where's the discipline at if you don't want to go hard and play together as a team, leave the basketball program they will be just fine without you

I said it from the moment we hired Davis. He’s not head coach he’s a ESPN analyst at best. This late in the year and the team still doesn’t have an identity. Also whoever the point guard is they look to shoot first instead of trying to get the team involved. The only reason they made the run they made last year is because Love and David couldn’t miss. That’s just two guys catching lighting in bottle not coaching. I hope we lose every game from here on out just so we can move pass this coach. UConn got one game luckier with Kevin Ollie than we did last year. Instead we made history by giving up the largest halftime lead in a national championship game. Any other coach would have won that game if they were in the situation. Hey Matt Daugherty is feeling better right about right knowing he wasn’t as bad as this guy. What makes it even worse is the ACC is at an all time low weakest I’ve ever seen it.
