Zero single-handedly killed the game. People cried about MorriDoom or even Dark Phoenix, but 1, maybe 2 people were able to play it at high level and be consistent. Meanwhile, Zero with Vergil on anchor was half the top 8's before Marvel 3 died.

Morrigan, fireballs deal half damage and chip in install and no meter build and her assist you don’t automatically get the meter when she comes in 2. Vergil, nerf X-Factor 3 Damage and time 3. Zero, add a limit to loops, where character rolls out or can tech at a certain point
Nerf morrigan’s astral vision, cant build meter during it. Make strider’s ouroboros a lvl 1 super but ofc adjust the time it lasts(shorter about the same time it lasts in mvc2) Remove the massive damage scaling on dante.
Some bum suggestions. 1) Zero buster is ground only. 2) Morrigan meter doesn't build during astral. 3) Vergil and Phoenix XF speed bonuses both reduced by 75%. You can't nerf zero/morrigan/vergil without nerfing Phoenix. Zero and Morri are the only reasons she isn't god tier.
Pretty much none signed up or even made the trip. community tournaments dont tend to get as much love as main stage. especially since the pot bonus is low. More killers at a weekly TNS UMvC3 tournament than this one.

As a casual viewers, I've always wondered why when they're doing a long combo and it's gonna kill the character off, they always use a super move even though they have like 1 pixel of life left. Why don't they just keep the combo going for one more hit?
Usually the scaling on the hits will cause the combo to drop. Most players know exactly when that's going to happen. By ending with a super you negate that actively building hit scaling. Plus with characters like Zero and Phoenix, they are so dangerous that you should be using meter to kill them as soon as you get a chance.
It was amazing last year when it was a main game. Had over 1350 entrants, which is almost more than 2016 and 2017 combined. It was relegated side game status this year, so no one really showed up and there were only 87 entrants.
So much respect for Noel Brown mannn. Mans had a dream set and shot for it til he achieved. Goat mentality 💪🏽 shoutouts to Unknown for coming so close and having a strong showing. OG legends in the building I’m proud of y’all mannn! & PZ good shit fellas thank y’all for keeping Marvel alive and playing at the highest level. So much respect 🙏🏽
