By far the best interview I've seen on youtube. Gotta give a big shout out to mobilemusicpro for putting this together and great topics discussed. Henny and Bolo were amazing panelists and tons of gems were dropped. Their comments were crucial to where we are and where we are headed in terms of music creation on ipad, mixing, social media presence, and work/life balance. This deserves a rewatch.

one ting i really love about ipad music creation is there are few gate keepers here!, less analysis paralysis and cheaper plugins to choose from that do the exact same thing!, great advice from people like bolo and henny who have been in the game for decades and we will keep supporting this genre and make it flourish. insightful interview and we can all learn so much from vortex and his honest reviews made me save so much AND helped me get the right stuff forsure . focus on what really matters GOOD MUSIC!!
Well worth the watch - really great. These topics and the panelist comments really hit home for me. I found myself nodding in agreement over and over. Hearing seasoned producers like Henny and Bolo talking with such enthusiasm about mobile music production is really exciting, and gives me hope that others are doing the same and that the devs and Apple will take notice.

I was looking forward to this episode all week.. defiantly worth watching if your interested in ipad music production. I would have thought someone would have brought up the point that the reason we havmt seen Logic on the ipad is most likely a business decision. The reason being is that they need to keep consumers buying thier Macs. If Apple started bringing over all thier pro apps to the iapd nobody would buy Macs anymore and they know that. And that's why we will never see something like Logic or Final Cut on Ios.. or at least not for a long time... sucks but I'm afraid that's what's gonna happen... I mean look how scared Apple is to finally release ios 16 with external monitor support?? It's because they can see the ipad is the future and they don't want the consumers to catch onto to that because that would spell the end to much of their product line

Yes indeed it could be that type of business decision for now but everything is telling us that apple wants to eventually phase out their mac books or create some kind of hybrid machine between an ipad and a laptop judging by their hardware decisions with the ipad and the recently filed patents.
I hate when making music on the iPad is referred to as entry level music making. It’s mobile! I guess that’s the result of music developers on iPad not keeping up with developers on desktop / laptop. In addition to the iPad, audio interface developers have been stepping up with class compliant products. The hardware is there. We just need the software. Doesn’t matter who it comes from. With that being said, I could care less if Logic Pro comes to iPad. We’d be fine if Cubasis, Beatmaker, Auria Pro, Audio Evolution, BandLab, or GarageBand stepped up. Give me a DAW like Auria Pro or Cubasis plus a few more features, with a built in sampler like Beatmaker, ….#1. I’d gladly pay $100 for that app…. #2. mobile music producers gonna have ‘em jealous!

my next investment would be a midi mixer and midi module sort of like jacob haq, but also KB1 app works amazing for now!
