- Squad Busters, Supercells newest game, has a huge problem right now.
In Todays video i'm going to be talking about CONSUMABLES. aka keys. These keys can completely change the way that games are run and if you're in a lobby filled with pro players you have NO choice but to use keys or you WILL lose... Today i'm going to be proving this by playing 2 games with keys in a row completely wiping out the lobby then one game without keys.
I just want to say though that REROLL Tokens are actually Good. I like them and i think they improve the game while not being too p2w.
This game has AMAZING potential and I personally think it'll do really well. and if they can find a way to fix the key issue I assume that'll help a lot of players come back to the game who many have left for those reasons.

The reroll feature is good...but it shouldn't be a consumable. Maybe allow 2 rerolls every game for everyone.

1 reroll per minute, just like the keys but free
they should honestly remove keys. i am at beach world right now and it is so hard to win without the use of keys as i am f2p. others use keys alot and has a massive advantage, this def needs to be addressed. it should be sorta smth like megas where u use it to comeback. idk how supercell are gna do it tho lol. great content btw ur gna be the next biggest squad busters creator :)

@@wolverine6991just keep farming a lot of coins while also not being tooo weak of a build,learning how to outrun/ escape big players will save you some games
@@beckdaman6442 true but its sometimes hard to outrun big players. i lost a 41 win streak( not that impressive but still) due to someone chasing me down the entire game.
@@dazhe69 yeah ive only gotten up to a 30 streak, but if you get focused there isn't much you could do. If you still get chased too much try playing with a friend(not to team, but just to take some pressure off of you) .

I'm honestly shocked that Supercell let this slide. I mean yeah other Supercell games have SOME P2W mechanics in them (Specially Clash Royale) but this is just crossing the line. Getting Ultras and Megas is one thing, but getting such huge advantages in every single match is just straight up unfair and not fun
Even Brawl Stars 3v3 is better than this. And you can play every match FREE.
@@user-kh1ro6wv3t exactly. BS there is a reason to play for fun even when you are out of star drops. In Squad Busters, you are incentivized not to play to avoid losing your streak 😊

Honestly I doubt it, I have a feeling they'll probably be looking at a way to rework the keys soon
Clash Royale is p2w but this game is way more p2w. Clash Royale takes more skill

I think if they buff farming comps even more than they already have, it will definitely become way too OP. Yes it’s annoying, but that’s the weakness of going for a farming comp vs dps comp

You can press the boost button while attacking, so you can attack faster
I've used one key, a fusion key and I felt so dirty afterwards that I never use them.
In my opinion the game is just oriented to lose more money as there is no other way to earn coins through which we can purchase tickets

Lol this gameplay absolutely killed my doubts of how people are playing. I knew it made no sense how I couldn't brake the gap. I really expect this issue to be solved. This is a real deal braker for me and much more. I use money, but not for keys man.
they should make keys a premium gadget that you can't buy. Like that people would think more before using them; but I understand that from the perspective of supercell they are too big of an income. btw love from italy, keep up the good work

I think keys should stay (but not the fusion key) and thus is how i would rework them:
-Now its free coins, bc you get a chest free (broken)
-It should be that you get the key, but the next chest will cost more, but how much? Its price will be the normal price+the price of the chest you unlocked with key
-Now the keys would be time saver, not pw2 and broken
That would destroy the flow of games

I dont think spc will do anything with keys honestly, even as comeback mechanic is a dumb idea. You dont get to pay for 20 elixir in clash royale if you are losing mid game. Rerrols while yes are still p2w the impact is way less = looking for a unit vs getting an extra unit out of nowhere.
Thankfully top 5 is considered a win, too many times I have seen the top guys in a lobby with too many units even without suppliers and at that point you just gotta farm outside the center and hope for the best or that they kill each other
i think they should just rework it so you can only get them during the game through bosses or whatever, and not just stock up on them and just breeze through each game.
Its biggest problem is that for peasants like me getting a new character is basically impossible
You had huge advantage before using the keys. Your troops are maxed. That feature from the queen is too op. Also people pay for those streaks. To me it means nothing. The key helps to balance the game when you are a noob or if your troops are half dead. And goal of the game is to use best strategy to get more gems. It is not just pvp. You are supposed to build a squad strong enough to survive and destroy with the highest amount of gems. The ranking also depends on how much time people have to waste playing. They need to organize tournaments.
The keys shouldn’t be a modifier but an separate gamemode

Key should be a 1 time use per match this would fix many problem f2p not feeling bad using keys and be balance and strategic if do you want to hold out the key in the late game when you cant afford keys anymore or not use it when your winning or use it early to take over the map not just a dumb mechanic to be spam its like if Brawl Star have this mechanic in showdown if they can just spend to have 10 power cubes out of thin air and do it again to gain another power cubes you know what remove it having the free key from kills should be good enough it gives player more reason to fight and be rewarded

Why tf unlocking even rare cards is insanely hard man!! It is so frustrating they should really buff the rates of unlocking new cards.
I agree, i feel like they should hard code it so you unlock at least 1 character per day when you're starting out for the first week or 2.

I'd think best solution is like 1 key per game, that makes it a lot less pay to win and makes it maybe a lot more strategic (for example when needin somethin in a few seconds time like whike you are fleein)
Or they could make them like gadgets in brawl stars where you have limited uses in each game and on top of that make them accessible only in the final stretch
