love how no matter the location people are drawn to the natural landscape. It shows how nature, some trees and water which provide cooler temps draws the people and allows them to connect more with the earth and each other.
I like how the last designer mentioned how the workers are made to feel that the projects are there's. If people feel some connect to caring for the space they will continue to make it flourish as well as pass that feelings to the next generation to save our earth.

These videos are fascinating, interesting & informative & illustrate just how important horticulture, plants & green spaces are for people. I really enjoy watching & learning from them . Very many thanks.

Jasmin officinalis, also known as poets' Jasmin. Blooms all year. Most of the nations in West Asia grow Jasmin Sambac, is very aromatic, but not as durable as the first one. In this video the view of the watchman, the building and the fountain is so beautiful. Zeena Jaja and Jala Makhzoumi's idea of kitchen garden is so great, a utiliterian garden is truly superior to any lawn.

Hydrangeas require so much water... I wouldn't plant them where water is scarce or even just outside their native habitats.
Anyway, this documentary is really interesting. Many beautiful gardens. I'm glad so many landscape architects prefer to work with native plants. Also lawns are so British and American.

So orderly planned under the circumstances, and small places for gardening in the big city. Beautiful sites, hopefully we can travel in a safe way to your l and and other distant land. They just look so beautiful, their people, landmarks, garden, music, and art and craft works! We appreciate your hard work informing and sharing with others.

I would love all countries to be more like Jordan. Instead of improving the technologies, buildings, roads, etc,,,, improve nature❤

I may not like his politics, but Jordan has one of the finest Permaculturalist Farmer/Gardener/Teachers ever born, it is unfortunate the Hashemites haven't put him to maximum use! Geoff Lawton is his name.

The abominable custom of lawns/golf is a western disease. Places like Spain, USA with hot, dry, soils without abundant water resources suffer from lawn infatuation fever.

Funny how now that you are in the center of Muslim world, there are no gardens that you can call it "Islamic"!! So what happened? You go to all those gardens in Iran , India and Spain and call them Islamic and then when you come to deep Islamic countries there are nothing but modern gardens and you call the desert gardens. Proof that there is no such thing as Islamci garden. By the way, have you ever been to Sean Connary Christian Garden behind the Buckingham Palace? What about Prince Charles Islamic Garden? Winston Churchil's Islamic Garden.... you should visit them too.

Have you seen gardens in Morocco? Or Iran? Just because countries share a religion it doesn’t mean they share the same style of architecture. As you can tell countries like Lebanon are heavily influenced by European countries in their style, while the Middle eastern countries have started to get more and more modernised in their architectural style.
