GMC Yukon Puddle Lights “Repair and Replace or Upgrade to LED” DIY

Are your Puddle lights bulbs burned out on your 2005 GMC Yukon Denali? Would like to Replace or upgrade you Puddles light bulbs to LED? Well watch this UA-cam video and I will show you how to Replace or Upgrade to LEDS bulbs. This should also work on 2000 to 2006 GMC, Truck,Yukon, Denali, Suburban, Tahoe, Escalade, but double check. Its really not that hard to do. Watch this video a couple of times for you to develop your confidence. You can do this simple repair with the tools you have, you don’t have to buy any special tools. Great I got the same light kit as well. It doesn't, however, provide for the Vanity lights in the visors.

Just a suggestion. After cleaning everything up burnish the electrical tabs and apply some dielectric grease.

I replace all of mines inside and out with those LED bulbs and it's insanely bright all around

If i want to upgrade my mirror from standard to dl3 for 2007 gmc sierra hd classic body style is it plug and play or need programming ?
I already had power folding driver’s side switch.

I don't think there is any programing. It's a pretty simple system when it comes to the mirrors.

I did that on my 2007 Sierra classic crew cab aswell. It’s plug and play if you already have the drivers side switch. I went from factory base mirrors to the mirrors that have power fold,turn signals, and puddle lights all in one. Everything functions just plug in the mirrors to the switch and that’s it !

Does anyone know if they make them for a 2003 GMC Sierra?? I been trying to look for side mirrors with blinker and puddle light but can’t seem to find any. They only have them for newer model trucks. Anyone?!!!

Not sure if you found them yet but the 2003-2006 cadillac escalde mirrors should plug and play and those can be found on Amazon or eBay, make sure you get the ones with all the features you want, GL

Hello my puddle light doesn’t work at all after changing them with and brighter LEDand I switched both side and turned it 180 degrees and nothing do you know what it could be. Is it a fuse and what fuse do they run off? Thank you

You will only see them on when you unlock your car and its dark out, or where the car senses it needs light like a parking garage. The headlights, reverse lights and puddle lights will come on. I doubt that there is a fuse for just those two lights but i could be wrong. Also with LEDs they need to be put in a certain way. Only two ways a bulb can be inserted, so take them out and flip over, see if that works. Thanks for Stopping by.

Put leds in and the only flash they don't stay on

Might have to upgrade the lighting relay. Had the same issue when upgrading to LED turn signal bulbs, put an LED relay and they don’t hyperflash no more.
