Janapada song| Beesukallu Pada-Part 2| Kanasaaa

Hello there everyone!!
We the WoW (Women of Wonder) group hope that you all are doing well..being safe and heathy!!
This time we have come up with another rendition of our folk culture-Beesukal pada-2
" Beeso kallu is a household stone implement for dry grinding millet. It is made of two thick circular flat stones on top of each other. The upper stone has a central hole which accommodates a small conical (metal/stone) projection from stone below about which it can rotate. Also, on the upper stone is another hole, peripheral in location, which houses a wooden handle for rotating it. It is also called as chakki (stone mill) in northern India"
Current scenario
This was the chief tool of the past to grind millet into flour before the spread of commercial grinding mill shops. Hitherto found in rural areas, these have now almost disappeared.

Song is just amazing and you guys have done total justice to it. I love the environment you guys have shot the video in. The cane baskets, brass tumbler, the cast iron sieve, traditional handmade decor around the main door and the tulasi (holy basil) plant in the front porch makes the whole thing so authentic. A huge shout-out to guys for bringing the cattle in the frame with the subtle tail wagging. The CALF just stole the show for me. Good job on the location with greenery.
