Upper Truckee River Wild and Scenic "Things worth Saving"

A campaign by CalTrout and Trout Unlimited California to secure a National Wild and Scenic designation for the Upper Truckee River. The Upper Truckee river is the largest tributary to Lake Tahoe and an important habitat for the preservation of Lahontan Cutthroat Trout. A National Wild and Scenic designation will help protect these waters from future dams or water diversion. It will not affect current recreational usage of the watershed.
