Another mobilized individual suggests not to be limited to local officials and appeal to the russian president, who unleashed this war: ‘Why the f**k are they sending us if we have to be in defence?!! I'm no prude -but I am amazed at the language of the RUS talking to their families. I have even heard them talk like this to their Mothers! One commenter said that he thought it was a result of so many of the draftees being from the very lowest level of RUS society - very little education or culture.

The Orcs would be better off surrendering. Ukraine follows the Geneva Conventions. Russian POWs get better care as prisoners in Ukraine than from their own army. Russia issues antique gear, if any, along with no food and water. The Orcs are struggling to provide summer uniforms while General Winter has one foot inside the door. Russian troops can sit, freeze, and starve in the trenches without weapons or ammo or receive humane treatment as POWs under the Geneva Conventions if they surrender.

Of course they are going to be told they will only be holding defensive positions, this way they will have less resistance to the call ups. Explaining to them they will be charging Ukrainian positions with WW2 rifles, Hockey masks and rubber boots, I would imagine would create some unease.

it seems to be a tradition in Russian army,, not to take their deads into account. They lost a lot of people during the winter war with Finland and during the WW2, probably due to the same disinterest. They count on the overwhelming numbers to bury the enemies not on an hypothetical technical quality and their "army" is a horde, not a professionnal one. One can recognize some patterns from WW2 : the anti fall back units, the waves of poorly trained, totally dependable conscripts sent as cannon fodder in the hope that they will be more numerous than the enemy ammunitions. However, if it was forgotten in Stalin time due to the victory of the red army against the third Reich, the repeated defeats against the Ukrainians should wake the Russian people out of his USSR-type apathy. Or so can we hope for them.
