Hey gunman great videos man, I really love how you paint and teach at the same time. I actually learnt how to spray paint cars just by watching your videos, even though I still have a lot more to learn. However, I would love if you could make a video showing how to determine how much material as a painter you would need to do a job... a car, an SUV and even bigger vehicles
Hi i have a Devilbiss Gravity FLG-5 Spray Gun 1.4, i sprayed with it but got a few runs with my clear coat, pressure was set to about 30psi, Is 30psi to much air pressure to spray with, or what would be the right air pressure to spray base coat and clear please,
Gunman. I purchased three ani guns from your affiliate. My questions is this, should I have a gun for each step, prime, base, and paint. I also have a warwick 904 and about five other guns along wth an Apollo three stage hvlp set up. Is this too many guns. You recommendations please for guns to make my set up complete. I have a mobile paint spray booth on order. I don't have a Devilbiss gti pro lite , But if I purchase one should I use it for clear coat only ,and use the Ani f150 for the base and another gun for priming
Yep that's how I'd do it man, use a pro lite for clear and clear only, sometimes if you are using a colour gun for clear a little colour from the previous job will come out and make a mess of the job, mainly noticeable on solid colours if there's a trace of metallic in the gun, obviously careful how you clean them and don't use dirty thinners too much on the clear gun. Nothing to say you couldn't even use an ANI for clear but I find the pro lite just that bit better. I say you can never have too many guns, well within reason. The ANI also comes in 1.7mm which would be good for primer and 1.3 & 1.4mm colour and clear. Where you are from, the kind of paint you are using and what kind of work you are doing would determine which cap I'd recommend you use with the devilbiss. Thanks for buying from SGD, it helps them justify future gun reviews.
nice mix amount. i always get nervous when the pps starts shrinking down. Been using cromax for a few years and a pro lite for base. love the vids keep it up. watching from vancouver island bc canada
Great job gunny that water sure covers fast got to say that. Like you always say get out and paint some shit and for our mate DF bar girls cant eat love!
Great channel!! Ani f150 or devilbiss flg5?? Looking for something that can lay down a nice sealer and maybe a base coat(solid color) from time to time. Thanks
We get this stuff from Bayfords paint supplies and has their logo on it, been working fine, paint reacts funny to it (fish eyes) as it has a waxy surface but never seems to affect the job and has a decent stick.

So is the Cromax brand a quality paint? Thinking about using this on my 1970 Cadillac DeVille convertible in a destroyer grey.

I'd say the DeVilbiss just seems like a better built gun but both are still decent.
+The Gunman RAW...Thanks for the reply and allowing the world of UA-cam to join you in the booth. Very much appreciated
whats in thebtwo guns ? a wetbed n base?
Dancing with gun
Sorry but the 2 guns used the same base coat?

i thank you so much for this video
what kind of gloves are those
good job!)
Why the two guns?
I like that blue tape...which brand?
3M?!
It's inter tape. aqua mask is what they call it. I have used quite a bit of it. And I'm not a fan.
